Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor head to Varanasi for the last schedule of Brahmastra

Alia Bhatt was photographed leaving Delhi early on Monday with beau Ranbir Kapoor, shortly after coming from promoting SS Rajamouli's RRR with Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Aamir Khan. Both were decked in white and having a good time with the paparazzi who had gathered at the airport to photograph them. 

The reason for RK and Alia's trip has now been updated. According to reports, the duo has left to film the final schedule of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The filming will take place in Varanasi and they will be there for four days. They're filming a major song as well as a few key sequences. 

Ayan had already gone to Varanasi to arrange for the shoot, mentioned the reports. Interestingly, they have previously shot in Varanasi. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Dimple Kapadia, in addition to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. In addition, Shah Rukh Khan will make a cameo appearance in the movie. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this film as this will be the first time Ranbir and Alia will share the screen space. 

Meanwhile, both Ranbir and Alia have many films lined up ahead of them. Alia will next be featured with Ranveer Singh in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in Jasmeet K Reen's Darlings, and Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif.

Ranbir, on the other hand, has Shamshera, Luv Ranjan's untitled next, and Animal by Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the works. He is anticipated to begin filming for the latter in the near future.
