Ali Merchant to play his REAL LIFE character in REEL LIFE!

Actor Ali Mercchant is currently wowing the audiences with his portrayal of Nirman in the show, 'Sadda Haq Season 2'.

With the development of the track in the show, there is a major surprise in store for all the fans. Many are aware that Ali, apart from being a talented actor is also a professional disc-jockey (DJ) in his real life. He has successfully performed several gigs and continues to do so.

However, in a one-of-a-kind story, Ali will be performing his real life passion and profession in his reel life too.

We contacted Ali, who confirmed saying, "Yes, Nirman, my character will be shown as a DJ in the upcoming track. It goes like, Nirman, who is a scientist is also a music-lover himself. So, when life gives him a lot of stress or there are a lot of problems in his life, he takes the route of music to relax himself. A bit of DJying calms him down and makes him happy. It is like meditation to him."

On being asked whether the character will be pursuing being a DJ professionally, he tells, "Unfortunately not. The character will not be doing it professionally, but I assure you Ali will be certainly doing it (laughs)."
