Ali Merchant to do new Sony show
Ali Merchant to play lead in upcoming Sony show tentatively titled Aa Ab Laut Chalein.
According to our source, "Ali Merchant has been finalized to play the lead role in Edit 2 and Sony's new show tentatively titled Aa Ab Laut Chalein. Earlier Naman Shaw was approached to play the lead role. But due to some confidential reasons, it has been decided that Ali Merchant would play the role. Playing his female interest is RJ Sana Sheikh who apparently is making her TV debut with this show. She is a popular name thanks to her radio show Aap hain Khoobsurat Sana Ke Saath."
Adds the source, "The show is a sweet love story and is based on a rural backdrop. The male lead plays a typical lover boy. Both the protagonists are childhood sweethearts."
We tried calling Ali but he remained unavailable for the comment.
Ali has also bagged a Rajshri Productions and NDTV Imagine show which will soon go on air.

but i don't get it sony channel taking so many new shows how they manage its timings ,
bhaskar bharti gets new timings and only plamalpur express is off air but their is line of new shows and sony is taking and taking new shows how channel will manange.

How is he going to manage playing leads on two different shows? Or does that mean Shaleen or whoever is the 2nd lead for the NDTV show is the main lead?

I loved him in amberdhara,yeh rishta kya kehlatahai,ek thi rajkumari,rubi,everywhr and also doin a rajshree show,wow I love ali,I and my family and friends and their friends will watch this show only for ali ,he is so cute and hot,I love his voice.

Sana Sheikh is currently seen in the Disney's teen show Kya Mast Hai Life..so this not her debut..looking forward to the show Ali is cute and a good actor
