Ali Merchant, Rachana Parulkar and Bharat Chawla In Fox's upcoming s

FOX Entertainment is coming up with a fiction show based on a Bengali backdrop very soon. The production house has shot a pilot for the same with the principal actors. They have been pitching it to few top channels like Colors and Zee TV.

According to our source, "Ali Merchant and Rachana Parulkar of Saath Phere fame are finalized to play the leads. Indrani Haldar of Sujata fame will play the male protagonist's mother. Bharat Chawda who is presently seen in Imagine's Bandini will play the parallel lead".

We tried contacting but Ali Merchant remained unavailable for comments.

We also got in touch with Rachna Parulkar. She said "We have just done our pilot shoot and it's too early to talk about this now."

Bharat  Chawda too echoed Rachna's sentiments.

If sources are to be believed, the production house will finalize the project with one of the top channels in few days time, after which the show is expected to go on floors.
