Akshay Kumar to be the Guest of Honor at IFFI, 2017

Speaking about it, Akshay said, "IFFI 2017 has truly left a mark and presented cinema lovers with the best in national and international cinema. I look forward to attending the closing and bidding farewell to our guests from around the world."

Also present at the festival would be Salman Khan. The 48th edition of the festival was inaugurated by Shah Rukh Khan on November 20. The event was attended by Sridevi, Jahnavi Kapoor, Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt among others.

However, Akshay Kumar will be the guest of honour at the closing ceremony of the 48th International Film Festival of India... superstar Salman Khan will bring down the curtains on the festival tonight, who will be accompanied by his "Tubelight" co-star and a child artiste Matin Rey Tangu. Katrina Kaif will also be present at the ceremony as a special guest.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year award for his contribution to Indian cinema and is said to have that Salman Khan will perform at the event along with his "Tiger Zinda Hai" co-star Katrina Kaif, and actor Sidharth Malhotra.
