Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta starrer 'Andaaz' to be remade; will the cast reprise their roles?

Renowned filmmaker Suneel Darshan is set to weave the enchanting spell of "Andaaz" once again with the much-anticipated sequel, "Andaaz 2." The 2003 hit, directed by the late Raj Kanwar and produced by Suneel Darshan, featured a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, and Lara Dutta. 

However, the sequel is poised to embark on a new chapter, introducing a fresh ensemble to carry forward the legacy of the beloved film. In a noteworthy twist, Suneel Darshan takes on the dual role of producer and director for "Andaaz 2," showcasing a deeply personal investment in the project.

Despite keeping the cast details under wraps, the decision to helm the project himself reflects Suneel Darshan's commitment to infusing the sequel with his unique creative vision. While the original film garnered accolades for its stellar cast and picturesque Cape Town setting, "Andaaz 2" promises to introduce a compelling trio of actors in two female lead roles and one male lead.

Suneel Darshan's meticulous approach in selecting the cast involved an extensive four to six-month audition process, ensuring that the chosen talents bring freshness and depth to their respective roles.
