Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi's 'OMG 2' set for its OTT debut- Check streaming details

Netflix shared the exciting news with fans by unveiling the film's poster and captioning it with enthusiasm, "We’ve got great news for you, and OMG can you tell we’re 2 excited? #OMG2 arrives on 8 October on Netflix."

Directed by Amit Rai, 'OMG 2' serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit film 'OMG - Oh My God!' The movie delves into the sensitive yet crucial subject of sex education in India and, in doing so, encountered its fair share of censorship challenges. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recommended several cuts and modifications to the storyline, eventually granting it an A (adult) certificate due to its bold theme.

Despite the initial hurdles and the stiff competition it faced upon release alongside Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' on August 11, 'OMG 2' emerged victorious both critically and commercially. After this digital release, fans of Akshay Kumar can look forward to his upcoming biographical drama, 'Mission Raniganj,' in which he stars alongside Parineeti Chopra. 

On the other hand, Pankaj Tripathi, fresh from his success in 'Fukrey 3,' will be seen in 'Main Atal Hoon.' The actor is also actively filming for the eagerly awaited sequel of the horror-comedy 'Stree,' alongside Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
