Akon at Ra.One Press Conference!

American rapper Akon flew in to Bombay for the shooting of his number in Anubhav Sinha's SRK-Kareena starrer Ra.One. Upon his arrival, a welcome party had been thrown by SRK and wife Gauri in the artist's honor.


An official press conference for the movie further saw the co-stars of Ra.One Kareena and Shahrukh posing with Akon.


The rapper himself, of an international fame, shared with the media that a world wide tour was among his immediate future plans and of the concerts lined up in the schedule, India would be a top priority. He stated that the difference in language and culture did not alter the idea of entertainment and India was a big market that he would definitely wish to explore for an audience. Additionally, international performances are sure ways of diversifying ones own talents, he confessed.


SRK, in response to a querry said that the promotional anthem for his IPL team Kolkota Knight Riders had not been developed yet, or he would surely wish for Akon to lend his voice to the same.


Ra.One, with all its share of buzz sure seems a promising venture to look forward to!
