Akanksha Puri, Ajay Chaudhary & others to star in web show 'Country Mafia'

Director Shashank Rai is still riding high on the success of the MX Player web show Raktaanchal 2 and he already has another project rolling. His new web show is called Country Mafia and is set on Varanasi.

The show has already roped in stalwarts like Ravi Kishan, Ayushmaan Pushkar, Soundarya Sharma, Satish Kaushik and Anitaa Raj for important roles where the show is about the illegal trade that takes place through the porous borders of the adjoining states (from UP to Bihar). It is a GHF presentation in association with SREPL productions.

Now, there are further additions to the cast. Actors Akanksha Puri (Vighnaharta Ganesha), Ihana Dhillon (Hate Story 4), Gurpreet Bedi (Dil Hi Toh Hai), Ajay Singh Chaudhary (Rishton Ka Chakravyuh), Pooja Bisht (Maazii), Aditya Kumar (Gangs of Wasseypur II) Ajay Chaudhary (Tenali Rama) will also be part of the above mentioned project.

The show is said to be being envisioned on a large scale and not much is known about the character details of the above-mentioned actors.

But with so many alluring actors coming together for a show, we are certain it will be interesting and worthy to look forward to.
