Tamil star Ajith Kumar who has ruled over celluloid for more than a decade proved that he is a motor sport ace as well. He took the third spot at the 991 category at the prestigious Dubai 24H Race that was held on January 7. Some days back, fans were in shock after they saw a video of Ajith Kumar’s car crashing on the boundary. He walked out of it unscathed. Many had felt he would bow down from the event as the crash seemed quite severe. It seems there was a brake fail and he considered stepping down from the driver’s seat. But he was back due to his unbridled passion for motorsport. He not only secured the third place but also the ‘Spirit Of The Race’ award in the GT4 category.

Visuals of his win are going viral all over social media. Celebs like Naga Chaitanya, Sivakarthikeyan, Siva, Kartik Subbaraj have all congratulated him. We can see that a big Indian crowd had turned up at the race to cheer for Ajith Kumar. The management has confirmed that he has his eyes set on the Europe race now. Ajith Kumar is known for his passion for automobiles and mechanics. He prefers a quiet life away from the limelight when he is not shooting. In fact, he does not give interviews or indulge in PR.
