Ajaz Khan Loses By A Large Margin In Byculla Elections; Gets Even Lesser Votes Than NOTA

Actor Ajaz Khan, who is mostly remembered for his rather controversial stint in Bigg Boss contested for Byculla Elections recently. Ajaz contested as an independent candidate from Byculla  seat in Mumbai. He seemed to be very confident before the elections but in the end lost with a large margin. Not just that but the actor even polled less than the NOTA votes and could only grab 2714 votes in his support. 

Shiv Sena candidate Yamini Jadhav won the Byculla Seat by grabbing over 20,000 votes in her favor. 

Ajaz Khan has often landed himself in several controversies and the recent one is on video he had shared on his social media. A few days back, Ajaz uploaded a video on Twitter in response to Payal Rohtagi’s video where she expressed her religious and political views. This video didn’t go well with Twitteratis and drew flak. Being a communally sensitive issue, the Cyber Crime Police Station of Mumbai has taken an action against him after receiving a written application from a citizen. 

He was also arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Cells of Mumbai Police with eight ecstasy tablet.
