Aishwarya Sharma rose to fame through her role as Pakhi in Star Plus' Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the show that today made a mark by completing three years. She joined "Khatron Ke Khiladi" shortly after leaving Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. At first, the actress struggled but later performed exceptionally well. She became the first contestant to qualify for the finale. The top 7 contestants included Aishwarya, Dino James, Arjit Taneja, Nyrra Banerjee, Archana Gautam, Shiv Thakare, and Rashmeet Kaur.
