The festival of colours is finally here! People around the country celebrate Holi with great joy and enthusiasm. Many people find it fun to play Holi with animals and put colours on them, forgetting their moral responsibility as a human being. The colours used in Holi are harmful for our skin and does more damage to animals when they lick those colours to wipe off.

Ahead of Rangpanchmi, actor Karan Patel who is currently seen in Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, urge fans to play safe and responsible Holi by not putting colours on animals. He shared a picture on his Instagram and later, posted a video message for explaining the same.

Karan himself is a dog owner. He and his wife Ankita Bhargava, often shares adorable pictures of their dog. About Karan, he started his career with Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and bagged his first lead role in Kasturi. However, his portrayal of Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein made him a household name.

We totally agree with Karan and urge our readers to play a safe and responsible Holi. Drop in your comments below.
