Age no bar for Anil Kapoor

He might be 52, but age hasn't deterred actor Anil Kapoor from performing his own stunts in the forthcoming movie "Tezz".

Anil has a lot of high octane action stunts, especially towards the climax, but managed to pull off the stunts confidently.

The actor's co-stars Ajay Devgn and Zayed Khan are already adept at a lot of action and are much younger than Anil. However, unit sources claim Anil beat Zayed during some chase sequences.

"Anil Kapoor refused to use a duplicate and there was this chase scene where he had to run after Zayed Khan. But the unit was stunned to see Anil, who was fitter and faster than Zayed Khan," said the source.

Anil says the movie and its stunts are to watch out for.

"The scenes were tough but not dangerous and I didn't want to use a duplicate. In fact none of us wanted to use duplicates. Zayed is younger but wait and watch and you will realise who ran faster," he said.

Big B nasty 'Sarkar' in 'Department': RGV

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has put a full stop on the constant comparisons between Amitabh Bachchan's role in "Department" and the one in "Sarkar".

Varma insists there's no similarity between the two roles, despite the fact that Amitabh's grey-haired, ruffled look in "Department" gives a sense of deja vu.

"(Except) For the hair similarity of Amitji in 'Department' and 'Sarkar', of course there's absolutely no similarity between the two characters," Varma tweeted.

The filmmaker revealed Amitabh plays a nasty role in "Department".

"For want of a better word, I think Amitji is playing a nasty sarkar in 'Department'," he further posted.

Actor Siddharth gets a cajon

Siddharth, who recently turned 33, has bought himself a box-shaped instrument cajon.

"My birthday gift to myself was a new percussion instrument. I see it as the start of a beautiful friendship... my Cajon...joy!!!" Siddharth tweeted.

The actor celebrated his birthday Tuesday.
