Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has addressed recent health rumours, refuting claims of undergoing an angioplasty. Following his hospitalization, which sparked concern among fans, Bachchan took to the internet to dismiss the speculations as "fake news" in a video that surfaced.
On Friday evening, Bachchan was spotted alongside his son, Abhishek Bachchan, at Thane's Dadoji Kondadev Stadium, attending the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) final match between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata.
Despite earlier reports of hospital visits, Bachchan signalled his well-being with a gesture, he said, "fake news." These clarifications come in response to reports suggesting Big B's hospital visit for a routine check and claims of undergoing angioplasty due to either a leg clot or a blocked artery.
Additionally, Bachchan shared an Instagram post featuring himself, Abhishek, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar from the ISPL 2024 final.
Amidst health rumours, Bachchan remains occupied with upcoming projects, including "Kalki 2898 AD" alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, along with films like "Section 84" and the Hindi remake of "The Intern" in the pipeline.
