After two years away from daily soaps, Prateik Chaudhary bags Gul Khan's next

With so many shows coming and going off-air lately, there has indeed been a ton of excitement with especially new shows coming up. Producer Gul Khan is also one of those who continues to churn out shows one after the other keeping the viewers hooked. While she just had the show, Namak Issk Ka going off-air, she already has another one in the works which is titled Sindoor Ki Keemat.

While we also know that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Bepanaah Pyaar fame Shehzad Shaikh has been roped in to play the lead, the show has another interesting development to look forward to. Actor Prateik Chaudhary has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show. What makes his confirmation very interesting is the fact that Chaudhary has been away from the daily soaps for two long years and was last seen in Paramavtar Shri Krishna.

He will be playing the role Shaikh's on-screen brother Ashwin Awasthi. Reports suggest that Chaudhary will play Ashwin, who is the youngest son of the Awasthi household. He is the Lakshman to Arjun (Shehzad Sheikh). Despite being aware that Arjun was adopted, he can go to any length for Arjun and his wife, Mishri. Ashwin helps his father in their family business but is not as successful as Arjun. He happily lives under the shadow of his big brother.

It will indeed be interesting to see the on-screen brotherhood of Shaikh and Chaudhary in the show.
