After quitting ‘Kundali Bhagya’, Dheeraj Dhoopar signs a new show opposite Surbhi Chandana

India Forums was the first one to break the news about speculations related to actor Dheeraj Dhoopar quitting Zee TV show ‘Kundali Bhagya’. It was further confirmed and reports of actor Shakti Arora entering the show hit the internet. Dheeraj later stated that he amicably decided to call it quits with the team of ‘Kundali Bhagya’.

Days after the news, Dheeraj apparently signed a new show co-starring Surbhi Chandana for Colors. The show is titled ‘Sherdil Shergill’ and will be produced by Saurabh Tewari’s Parin Multimedia Pvt Ltd. Interestingly, Dheeraj and Surbhi had worked together for a short span of time for Naagin 5.

A source confirmed the buzz with Bombay Times and said, “The story is a breakaway from usual saas-bahu sagas. SS is a rom-com revolving around two individuals from different backgrounds and ideologies. While Dheeraj is the privileged one Surbhi will play a self-made woman. It will be interesting to see how their paths cross and they fall in love eventually. The unit is expected to commence the shoot in a couple of weeks.”

Saurabh Tewari’s Parin Multimedia Pvt Ltd has delivered variety of shows like Pinjra Khoobsurti Ka, Iss Mod Se Jaate Hain, Krishna Chali London among others.

Surbhi Chandana rose to fame with projects like Ishqbaaaz, Naagin 5 among others while Dheeraj is known for his performances in projects like Sasural Simar Ka and Kundali Bhagya among others.
