After Love Aaj Kal 2, Kartik Aaryan yet again bags a sequel!

Grabbing everyone's attention in Pyaar Ka Punchanama series, actor Kartik Aaryan has evolved himself as one of the most loved young and leading actors of Bollywood. The actor who was last seen in Luka Chuppi has bagged films like Pati Patni Aur Woh remake, Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 and now he has been roped in to play the lead in the sequel of 2007 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiya.

A source close to the film confirmed the news with Mumbai Mirror and said, "While the makers have locked the idea, the script is still to be finalised. But the idea was shared with Kartik who liked it and has agreed to take the franchise forward with the story set in a metropolis."

The source further added, "The director will be locked in a few days, following which they will decide on the leading lady and the rest of the cast. Bhushan always wanted to continue with Bhool Bhulaiyaa and is invested in the film. He expects to start filming by the end of the year."

For the unversed, the original version of the film starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja. 

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan recently wrapped up the shoot of Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 which also stars Sara Ali Khan. The actor will also be seen sharing screen space with Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the official remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh.
