After Anu Malik's Removal, Sona Mohapatra Responds on the Decision

The hullabaloo surrounding singer Anu Malik and his #MeToo accusations were going on for a rather long time now, Everything was more so on the fact that the singer was still a part of Indian Idol 11's judges panel in spite of being accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.

However, that was finally brought to an interim close as Malik is now no longer a part of the panel. Even though different celebrities have had divided opinions about the saga, there is one person who was constantly vocal and against the idea and that was singer, Sona Mohapatra. Be it tweets, letters or interviews, Mohapatra has been outspoken about her take on the saga entirely.

Now that Malik is out of the show, Mohapatra went on to express her take on the saga in a tweet, where she said. "Thank you to all the women & men & the media of India who supported our campaign #MoveOutMalik . A repeat offender like Anu Malik on national tv triggered a lot of trauma, pain & stress in many of our lives. I have been ill for a while & I hope to sleep well tonight."-
