Memes have become the new way to stay relevant in the best possible way even if it leads to a show being mocked. That is what happened a while ago when a scene from Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka ! went viral with a scene that had characters breaking the moon and getting back. And while, some of them have been hilarious, finally the leading lady of the show, Aditi Sharma went on to react and talk about it in an interview with ETimes TV.
Sharma said, "I had so much fun reading them. I was enjoying it and did not feel bad for a second. I saw all the memes and was laughing out loud reading them. In fact, I have some amazing friends who make sure I don't miss any of them, like we say 'har ek friend kamina hota hai. My friends brutally trolled me and made fun of me and I had so much fun. Then this guy Ronit Ashra, he made a video of that scene and enacted me and I was so happy about it. I was like wow ye toh bahut he accha hua... I felt nice. This was not my first meme. In one of my previous shows, Kaleerein, there was a scene where a girl was shown falling from the first floor and it took an entire episode to fall and people trolled us, Arre duniya mein gravity naam ki cheez he nahi hai.. That was the first time for me and at that point I felt bad. But during Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, everything was cool. In fact, people initially felt that it was a Pakistani show. It was fun, people did not know the entire story and they just picked out this clip and made memes. i did not feel bad at all, in fact, I wanted them to mention them so that I could have got more followers (laughs)."
Sharma and VIkram Singh Chauhan starrer Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka ! which enthralled the audience with the lead characters' amazing chemistry. The show, which was set against a supernatural plot, started a meme fest when the female protagonist Roshni (a human with angelic powers) announces that she will marry the man who gets her a ‘chaand ka tukda’. Aman, her love interest, takes the line seriously and we see him using a rope to drag the moon down. When he doesn't succeed in it, he drives to space in his car to get a piece of the moon for his ladylove. The video left the audience in splits of laughter and they started a meme fest.
