Adaaa Khan smiles through the rashes...

Adaaa Khan who plays the role of Amrit in Life OK's Amrit Manthan had a hard time while shooting the wedding scene in the Show. The wedding lehenga that she is wearing for the shoot weights 65kg, which leaves her body with rashes due to prolong wearing of the dress!

On contacting Adaaa, she confirmed by saying "Yes I am wearing a 65 kg Lehenga which requires atleast two people to hold the weight when I walk. Wearing such a heavy dress in this hot climate has left me with rashes on my body. Shooting for a marriage sequence in a daily soap is very difficult; it  is shot over a number of days in a traditional avatar which includes wearing the elaborate wedding dress for 16 hours each day.  Luckily in real life D-Day is just for one day and so one wears the birdal lengha for just one single day!"

She further said "However I have no complaints as its always nice to doll up like a bride and it feels great to have such a beautiful dress to wear for my onscreen wedding!"
