Actress Purvi Mundada to play a lead in Gumrah!

Model turned actress Purvi Mundada, who made her debut as Dolly Sarav on Star Plus's show 'Nisha Aur Uske Cousins' will be seen playing a lead role on Channel V's 'Gumrah' this week.

According to one of our sources, Her character Shivi would be a 21-22 years old young struggling actress. She will be a newbie, who desires to be successful and ultimately gets involved in a crime.

Purvi confirmed the news to us. She says, "Yes I am playing a lead role this week and my character will be completely different in terms of appearance. I would be seen in a glamorous look, as I play an actress. Also, they wanted a known face for it and thus they chose me for the role."

The actress has already shot for the show and the episode will be on air this Sunday.
