Actor and pianist Mark Farokh Parakh celbrates his Birthday today!

Mark, who is also a brilliant pianist talks to TellyBuzz about his birthday plans on turning 29...

Birthday plans for today:

Since it's a special day today, my mom has made a delicious lunch with my favourite dish Salli Chicken. Its a parsi delicacy which is also called as 'Chicken in Potato straw' in English. Further to end up the day on a happy note, I've planned a special dinner with my family and friends tonight.

Gifts that I'm getting on my birthday:

Well, I've asked my dad not to gift me anything. But we will be soon going for shopping as I'm very picky about my clothes. My family and cousins know how passionate I am about music, so they are planning to gift me a big piano this time.

I have a twin brother. And during our childhood we both used to be so eager for the toys we would get on our birthday.  The cupboard would hold wonderful bunch of toys which used to leave us in utmost happiness. Those were the wonderful days I really cherish.

Celebrating birthday with my twin:

Well, we both have wished each other, but gifts are yet to be exchanged. Talking about the resemblance, I was more into action stuff while Marzy was a gun & remote control car type of a kid. We both are fraternal twins, yet very different from each other. He has his own restaurant and he is basically into the catering profession.  But it really feels extra-ordinary to celebrate birthday with a twin.

A perfect birthday according to me:

For me, a perfect birthday would be a day well spent with my family and friends. Instead of going to pubs or clubbing, where I can't even talk qualitatively with my family-friends, I would prefer a dinner with my loved ones at my place or at a restaurant that I like.

Plan to treat co-stars:

Last night Puru Chibber, my co-star and best friend planned a get-together with the entire team of my earlier show Khotey Sikke. As the clock struck 12, we went for dinner to Hotel Orchid and had a fun time celebrating my birthday.

If I'm granted a wish today:

If at all I'm granted a wish today, I would want all my projects and shows that I touch to turn super successful and reach great heights.

Future Plans:

At present I'm concentrating on my concerts as a pianist. Following the same line, I performed in Bangkok two months ago. And recently, just a week back I also performed at the Taj, Colaba. You'll soon see me performing at the Oberoi by the end of this month. As far as personal life is concerned. I'll be getting married next year and the preparations will start before this year's end. So, hope for the best.
