Actor Altaf Hussain passes away!

The good looking actor Altaf Hussain who played Pundhir in Star Plus' popular show Prithviraj Chauhan breathed his last yesterday morning.

We heard that, "The actor who was just 35-36 years old was suffering from the lung cancer. Altaf who hails from Baroda fell ill one month before and his treatment began in Baroda but later he was accommodated to AIIMS Delhi but doctors told his family members that he doesn't have much time for survival. He became serious in the last seven days and breathed his last in Delhi yesterday morning. He has been buried in his native place today."

We spoke to his co-star and dear friend Sudeep Sarangi, who confirmed the news and said, "He was very simple and and a lovable guy. He was a very dear friend of mine. I was so shocked to hear about this sad and its unbelievable that he is now no more with us. I am shattered to hear about it. May God give strength to his family to bear the pain. He will be always remembered."

We also spoke to the supervising producer of the show Gopal Krishna who told us, "He was a very nice and simple guy and was not at all addicted to smoking or drinking. May his soul rest in peace."
