'Absent Baliye' on Nach Baliye 4...

There is some confusion regarding the non-participation of all Nach Baliye 4 jodis in the Grand Finale today, on February 1st.

But a channel source rubbished all these rumors that they had not invited some jodis. "We had called all couples, but some had opted out on their own.  Vineet Raina and Tanushree excused themselves saying that they wanted to get married. Mouli Ganguly is supposedly getting some treatment back home in Kolkata. However Teejay Siddhu who's better half, Karnvir Bohra is injured, maintains that she was asked not to come. "I was all set to perform a solo, but then received an SMS from the production house at the 11th hour saying that you are not required", quips Teejay.

On the absence of wild card entry Chetan  Hansraj and baliye Lavinia, the source quipped, "Well they never were in the initial line up". Original anchors of season 4 Sanjeeda Sheikh – Aamir Ali who were replaced will also be there.

The channel source also justified the absence of jodi performances by all contestants.  "Only Jaspal Bhatti- Savita, Addite Shriwaikar - Mohit Mallik and Kapil Nirmal - Anjali Abrol will have couple acts. Amit Gupta will perform but not with baliye  Reshhmi Ghosh, rather he will do the Dostana number, Desi girl  along with judge  Farah  Khan and  five other male contestants". 

There is some confusion whether Abhijeet Sawant will do a jodi act with wifey Shilpa or not.  He had told us that she will not be there, but news is abuzz that the couple will dance to Ghajini's Lattoo. 

"We need to balance things out well. Not all jodi's can perform, for we have even earlier season people( last season runner-up  Rakhi Sawant san ex beau Abhishek Awasthi, Season 2 winners Hussein-Tina)  and fresh faces (Sara Khan – Ali Merchant)  as well, and plus the emphasis has to be on the two finalists , Shaleen-Daljit and  Megha - Naman right?", says the source.

Our khabru rubbished the allegation made by certain jodis that monetary considerations were responsible for keeping certain jodis out. "We have pulled all stops to make Nach 4 a grand success.  It's quite sad that rather than thanking STAR for giving them a platform these people are blaming us for their failure to reach the finale".

Well, whatever it is, we have an interesting battle on cards in the Finale of Nach Baliye 4 between the contestants Shaleen-Daljit and the Dark Horses Naman-Megha!!
