Abhishek Tewari, last seen on Balika Vadhu as Maahi, will be soon seen in Epic's 'Stories by Rabindranath Tagore'.
The story name is based on Ravindranath Tagore's novel 'SAMAPTI'. It's a beautiful story about relationships heavy on the love quotient and in a subtle way those relationships transforms a young tomboy girl into a mature woman who recognises the significance of love in her life. 'SAMAPTI' is the story on which India's Finest director Mr. Satyajit Ray made his movie in the year 1961 and got National Award.
We contacted Abhishek who confirmed the news, "Yes its a cute love story about how a girl transforms into women. It was a nice experience to shoot with Anurag Da (Anurag Basu). He is one of the finest director which every actor dreams of working with. The whole shoot was like we are shooting for a film. Also the whole set was turned into Kolkata, everyone on the set used to talk in Bengali. It was amazing shooting for it."
The co-actor is Chitrangdha Chakraborty. (Theatre and Bengali film actress). The episode will go on air on Tuesday.
