The Talented singer and winner of Sony TV's Indian Idol - 1 Abhijeet Sawant launched his music album Farida yesterday with the love and support of people from the industry. Sajid-Wajid, Neeti Mohan, Kailash Kher among many others came to the launch event to cheer and support Abhijeet Sawant.

Talking about the album Abhijeet said, "This is my third album and I am waiting to hear the response from people for the same. It has taken me 5 long years to come up with this album. Though the journey was long I did not realize it since there were a lot of things happening side by side. I did shows in India and also playback singing was keeping me busy."

He further added, "I had planned to come up with the album before too but that was a time for revolution. There were numerous changes in the electronic medium for instance, there was I-tunes, MP3, MP4, and much more introduced in these 5 years. I thought it was not the right time then and decided to come up with the album now."
