Aashish Mehrotra misses shopping for his married sister on Lohri

Aashish Mehrotra, who is loved by the audiences for his character in Anupamaa, will miss the fun he has every year on Lohri being with his family in Delhi. 

The actor got nostalgic about the festival and his memories of being with family while talking to a leading portal and revealed how due to shooting, he is not able to travel for the festival. He even mentioned that he is very excited about Lohri since childhood.

He added that the family used to celebrate bringing dhol, light the bonfire, eat sweets in the winters and throw all the chikki in the bonfire and dance around it. Also, this time the actor is going to happily miss Lohari as he is in Mumbai and shooting for Anupamaa.

Aashish also revealed that among the things he will miss dearly, is the shopping for his sister who is married and going to her house with gifts. 

Aashish even hopes and prays,  that on this Lohri, the people who were impacted by the pandemic are able to emerge stronger from it and recover in 2021.
