Aapki Antara's Aditya victim to cancer?

Zee and Drishtant Media's Aap Ki Antara is supposedly up for a major twist. If latest reports are to be believed, then Aditya (Darshan Pandya) has fallen prey to cancer.

The recent episodes of Aap Ki Antara have shown the protagonist Aditya Verma reeling with stomach pain at regular intervals.

According to our source, "Aditya gets to know that he has cancer. He is shocked and completely shattered with this report. He tries to do everything to settle his family so that they have a safe future. He will be seen fighting with life, fighting against all odds, to fulfill his family's dreams faster."

Adds the source, "After the time slot of Aap Ki Antara got changed, the creatives have been forced to add more drama to the serial as per the requirement of the audience of late night hours. The pressure is on to shift the focus from autism (the very essence of the show) to family drama. This is a desperate attempt to garner TRPs which have fallen badly since the leap happened along with change in time slot."

On Aditya's illness, Producer Monish Sekhri says, "It can be cancer. We haven't decided on it yet."

If truly Aditya has cancer, then is it terminal or curable? Are we seeing the last of this character? Well, lots of questions to be answered, we guess in the coming episodes...
