He conveyed that if Vanished Women were to clinch the esteemed Academy Award, folks in India would go 'ballistic' as 'we have been dying to win an Academy Award for an Indian film which hasn’t happened till now.'

He noted that though he isn’t too hung up on competitions, he would be truly delighted if Vanished Women emerged victorious. As per him, an Oscar triumph opens up a big chance for a movie, igniting worldwide curiosity and drawing in a far larger crowd keen to discover what sets the film apart.
Aamir also chatted about the buzz in India if Vanished Women scooped up the fancy prize. He highlighted that, being a film-loving nation, India has been eagerly anticipating an Academy Award for an Indian flick, a goal yet to be reached.
He included that a victory like that would make the nation go wild, with folks joyously celebrating, and he would be thrilled to witness the joy it would bring to Indian viewers.

In terms of work, Aamir Khan is set to feature in Stars on Earth, with Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh, scheduled for a cinematic debut in 2025. Additionally, he is producing Lahore 1947, helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol in the main part.
