Aamir Khan is disappointed with Ravi Shashtri’s review of his cricket skills, asks him to watch 'Lagaan'

Aamir Khan posted a video of himself playing cricket with the crew of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha last month. Aamir asked the crew in the video if he could be selected for the IPL. Former cricketer Ravi Shastri responded to Aamir's question on Thursday, saying that he (Aamir) needs to work on his footwork and that most teams will take him. Aamir has now responded to Ravi's remark, stating that "any team would be lucky to have me." 

Aamir Khan Productions' Instagram account shared a new video of the actor playing cricket on Friday. "When the boss demands, you deliver. #AamirKhan has begun working on his footwork. @ravishastriofficial toh selection pakka samjhe na (So my selection is final)?”

Aamir can be heard saying in the video.”Ravi I'm a little disappointed that you didn't like my footwork. Perhaps you haven't seen Lagaan. Please watch it again. Any team would be fortunate to have me. Please properly recommend me. It'll be entertaining. See this if you want footwork." 

Aamir shared a video of himself playing cricket with the film's crew last month. "IPL mein chance hai kya?" he asked former Indian coach Ravi Shastri.

Star Sports recently shared a video in which the anchor is seen asking Ravi Shastri if Aamir has a chance in the IPL. Ravi responded, "He looks good in the nets." He most likely needs to work on his footwork. However, he should be able to make most teams." 

Laal Singh Chaddha reunites Aamir, Kareena, and Mona Singh after their 2009 blockbuster 3 Idiots. It also marks Naga Chaitanya's Bollywood debut. Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan are said to have cameo roles in the film. The film is set to hit the theatres on 11 August 2022.
