The latest member of the Kapoor family on the block, Aadar Jain, grandson of legendary Raj Kapoor made headlines for his recent show Hello Charlie.
In a recent interview, Aadar has opened up about his late uncle Rishi Kapoor and shared some fond memories with him. Aadar is the son of Reema Kapoor and Manoj Jain, and also has a brother Armaan Jain.
Speaking to Times of India, Aadar spoke about their love for food, and revealed their 'special dish'. He said:
"My brother Armaan and I were brats as children, and he used to pull us up. We often hung out with him; we used to have food together as my family loves eating. We had a special dish called junglee mutton, which we really enjoyed."
Aadar also said that Rishi was an inspiration to him, not just as an actor, but also as a person. He added:
“On a personal level, he has been an inspiration for me and not just as an actor. Every single day spent with him is now a fond memory. He was large-hearted and larger-than-life."
Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 after a two-year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, kids Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
Speaking of Aadar’s professional front, he made his debut in 2017 with Qaidi Band, which failed at the box office. He was recently seen in the film Hello Charlie also starring Jackie Shroff, Shlokka Pandit, Rajpal Yadav and Elnaaz Norouzi among others.
