A candid talk with the 'Vishkanya' actor..

The upcoming show, 'Vishkanya' is creating a lot of buzz even before it goes on-air. The show's unusual and fresh concept is termed to be one of its biggest USPs and people are waiting for D-Day..

Vin Rana, who was last seen as Nakul in 'Mahabharat' bags the lead role on this show, where he plays Malay Mittal. On being asked about his role, he said, "My role is that of a carefree guy, who has returned from abroad and is the neighbour of this rumoured haunted household. And before you can figure, he falls in love with the girl in the house instantly."

He added, "I am extremely excited for the show as one of the prime aspects of my role is that I can totally relate it to the way I am in my real life."

On being asked an unusual question, that what if he wasn't an actor, he said, "If not an actor, I would have been a businessman, as my family has their own business. So undoubtedly, I would have been that."

On talking about the uncanny resemblance of the show's concept with the currently popular show 'Naagin', he said, "We have been asked this a number of times, however, our show is totally different from 'Naagin'. The element of supernatural things may be the only common link, but 'vishkanyas' have actually been a part of history. So its a balance between history and fairytale romance."
