A Bengali Tutor for Deepika Singh

While the audience has been going ga-ga over the onscreen Bong avatar of Deepika, little do we know that Shashi Sumeet Productions, the makers of Diya Aur Bati Hum, hired a Bengali tutor for Deepika aka Sandhya.

Deepika Singh aka Sandhya, who sported a strong avatar will now be portraying the character of a Bengali women, for which, the Production house have hired a Bengali language trainer to train her in the language for the track. Even everyone on the set, the unit, the makeup artist are supporting her by using Bengali words on the set.

Commenting on the same, Deepika aka Sandhya said, “I am thankful to the production house that they hired a tutor for me.  As I am good in Sanskrit, it was an advantage for me to learn Bengali easily and to catch the accent. The track demands a lot of concentration and I am giving my best. I am completely in the skin of the character that even I speak Hindi in Bengali accent”.
