A path less travelled, a story less explored.

The Past collides with the present concept
The concept of this show is different. All this while, we have seen multiple adaptations of the Mahabharata on our television screens. Nagarjuna too derives its storyline from Mahabharata. Not many know that the Nagas too had a mention in the Mahabharata. Arjuna married Ulupi, the Naga Princess. The story of Nagarjuna focuses on what went so wrong that the Nagas want to attack the humans in the present time. An Interesting concept we must say. And what more? This involves a naagmani.

Anshuman Malhotra in a serious role
Actor Anshuman Malhotra was seen as one of the three leads in Channel V's Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri Ri. Then again he has been cast in MTV Warrior High again as one of the 3 main leads. Both the shows had their respective loyal viewership. But Nagarjuna will give Anshuman a chance to prove his finesse as an actor who has the calibre to carry a show on his shoulders. This show is Anshuman's chance to show the industry his splendid acting skills.

Ensemble Cast
Beyond Dreams has managed a casting coup of sorts with Nagarjuna. With an ensemble cast like Nikitin Dheer, Pooja Bannerjee, Kirti Nagpure, Nawab Shah, Shruti Ulfat, Mrunal Jain, Chetan Hansraj and Manish Wadhwa, one can only expect stellar performances from each of the actors.

Better visual effects than most current shows
Judging by the promo, we found that the visual effects in this show were way better than most of the current shows. The transition of the Naag from the Patal lok to the prithvi lok and thereafter looks very convincing. And after viewing the promo, our expectations from the show have increased.

Finally a male-centric show
After a very long time, we will finally be able to see a supernatural show that is centred around a male character. And also, the show will have the complete spotlight on the Naags and not the Naagins. With every second show these days showing Naagins and their conniving ways, it would be interesting to watch the Naags plot their ploys.

With the promos garnering a great response, we are sure many are eagerly awaiting the first episode of the show.
