Zee TV is all set and rolling to take-over the early prime-time slot from today as it will be launching two much-awaited shows - Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More and Bhootu.
Recently, we reported about the show introducing a debutante in the form of actress, Yesha Rughani and we also shared some unknown facts about her.
And now, with the D-Day being here, we enlist the 5 reasons to look forward to this much-awaited show -
Opulent Setting

With Rajasthan increasingly becoming a favoured location for multiple shows these days, the idea of presenting a visual treat is a certainty. And the best part about this is that it cannot get monotonous as the rich culture of the state gives a chance to different shows adopting a different approach to portray the state's beauty. And Jeet Gayi Toh.. is yet another example as the story is set in Rajasthan and we can be assured about the grand setting.
The Idea Of A Known Actor With A Fresh Face

When it comes to television, the acceptance of a fresh face is not as risky as that in a film; as over the time, the newbie can be loved by the people. Having said that, if there is one formula which has a large success ratio, then that is of pairing a known actor with a debutant thus making it a lot more exciting. In this show, Krip Suri plays the male lead and has been on the block with memorable roles in Sadda Haq and Kalash - Ek Vishwaas, while, Yesha makes her debut.
The Inspiration From Beauty And The Beast

Recently, the actors clarified that the show is not an adaptation of the popular saga, The Beauty And The Beast, but is certainly inspired from the same. And we know how loved the story of Beauty And The Beast is. The film recently crossed over 1 billion dollars and the book has been a cult over the years. For a show which is taking over the early prime-time slot, to have such a backing is a hugely positive and some fans of the saga would certainly look forward to it.
The Cultural Connect

Even though we have mentioned about how the show has an opulent setting to boast of, what makes the show even more watchable is the cultural connection that it has to offer. It cannot be denied that one of the prime reasons for the makers to have a traditional and culturally rich backdrop is to increase the reach of the show to even the remotest places in India. When a show with an urban setting is presented, the numbers and the audience attraction is drastically less than that of a rural setting. When it comes to Jeet Gayi Toh.., it is based in a developing city of Sujangarh, which is located in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan.
The Mixed Feelings About Women Empowerment

Here we term it to be mixed feelings because we are not entirely sure as to how does the base plot of the show make for an empowerment saga. The show will showcase how an educated girl, having lived in an urban city throughout her growing days, comes back to her roots in Rajasthan only to get married to a beast (Krip Suri) and it is only then that she vows to take her revenge for being chained by the man. While the overview of the plot screams woman empowerment, the inner thought leaves us to wonder whether a girl like her would fall prey to such a circumstance in the first place? Whatever the case may be, this concept itself makes it a reason to watch the show!
With these 5 factors and many other small reasons, Zee TV's Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More is certainly one to watch out for.
