21Years of K3G: Karan Johar pens heartfelt note,says, "K3G was an honour"

From Bade mazaaki ho ... bade mazaaki ho, good looks good looks good looks, to Mahiya say shava shava everything his still fresh in our mind. One of the movies that made a specific place in the hearts of its viewers is Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The family comedy, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaya Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan, continues to be one of the most adored and viewed movies. 

Everything, from the tunes to the clothes to the scenery, has a special place. And as they say time flies, it surely does as K3G has completed 21 years today.

As a result, Karan Johar celebrated the film's 21st anniversary on his Instagram account today. KJo shared a monochromatic montage of behind the scenes from the film. Karan writes, 

“No amount of words can encapsulate the feelings for this film. K3G was an absolute honour solely because I had such a distinguished cast to direct on screen…and that soon became a family off screen too. 21 years later, I’m still soaking in all the love it continues to give me & Dharma - whether it’s the music, the dialogues, the fashion or the emotions that rest with every family…THANK YOU! For making Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham what it was then and what it is today. After all, it’s all about loving your family. #21YearsOfK3G.”

It definitely made us all nostalgic and took us down our memory lanes, while fans have also dropped heart emojis in the comment section. 

Talking about the workfront, he is returning to direction after a gap. His next film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be releasing next year and will star Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. The film's star cast includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi together.
