Yes, she favoured Arjun the most. When Pandavas came to know of Krishna incarnation being over, then they had no interest in ruling any more. They made Parikshit as the king and roamed by walking.

On the way, Draupadi died.
Bhim asked Yudhisthir, "This princess never did any sinful act. Then why is she fallen on Earth?"

Yudhisthir replied, "Though we were all equal unto her, she had great partiality for Dhananjay(Arjun). She obtains the fruit of that conduct today."

Personally I do not blame Draupadi for being partial towards Arjun. Come on. Arjun won her in swayamvar. SHe did not marry other four Pandavas out of her choice. But she was forced because of the situation.

She did favor Arjun, b/c he won her over. People have a misconception that she is called Panchali b/c of her panch pati. But that's not the reason ji, it's b/c her her dad was Panchnarish.

Anywayz, I don't believe that she was forced into the marrying the other 4. In her previous birth she asked for a husband with 5 qualities, and she found them in 5 separate men. Keshav and Drupadi talked in terms that no one could understand, like she knew what was going to happen ji. She could have said No b/c she deemed that much power, but she accepted. She made them her husbands, but considered Arjun as her fav. Arjun was sent on exile and during it he married Subhdara, but Drupadi hadn't wanted him to go on exile. But Arjun had violated the rules and had to be punished for it ji, so she had no choice.

She and Keshav were Saaki and Saaka, and when He reminded her of her boon she accepted. For me, women in that era or in the era of Swamybars and more freedom and respect than women do now or in the last 100 to 200 years have seen ji. Pati was considered a devta b/c a patni was considered a devi. Drupadi held a lot of respect, and Mahabharat happened to give her the peace she had asked for in her previous birth. Anywayz, in my opinion she was one of the respected women in that era, and still today she is given the same respect the Pandaavs have gotten.

ancient royal women picked husbands when they were assembled before them. for draupati a contest was held, who ever could pick up a super heavy bow, string it, and shoot an arrow into a moving target on the ceiling, using the reflection of the target in a pool of water on the floor would get to marry draupati . the target was a metallic fish which sun around and arjun had to hit the eye of it. arjun was successful, the one else could even pick up the bow i think, except for karan but i think lord krishna gets him to not take a shot

after arjun won draupati he took her to his mother, he said look what i have brought mother, his mom without looking up said "whatever it is share it with your brothers" and thats how drauapti became wife to all brothers. i think he mom regreting saying what she did, but her sons said they have to obey there mothers wish.

this is how i rememeber seeing it in the old mahabhart, i suggest you go to wikipedia.com and search arjun or draupati and you can read the story.

Let me continue that story.
After Draupadi died, the Pandavas moved further. On the way, Sahdev died.
Bhim asked, "He who with great humility used to serve us all, alas, why is that son of Madri fallen down on the Earth?
Yudhisthir replied, "He never thought anybody his equal in wisdom. It is for that fault that this prince has fallen down."

Others went on. Knowing that Draupadi and Sahdev were not any more, Nakul fell down (died).
Bhim said, "This brother of ours was righteousness. He always obeyed us. He was unrivalled for beauty. This Nakul has fallen down"
Yudhisthir replied, "He was of righteous soul and highly intelligent. He, however, thought that there was nobody that equalled him in beauty of person. Indeed, he regarded himself as superior to all in that respect. It is for this that Nakul has fallen down."

Arjun fell down in grief. When Arjun was on the point of death, then Bhim said to Yudhisthir, "I do not recollect any lie uttered by this high-souled one. Not even in jest did he say anything false. What then is the reason for whose evil consequence this one has fallen down on the Earth?
Yudhisthir replied, "Proud of his heroism, Arjun had said that he would consume all our foes in a single day. However, he did not accomplish that. Hence has he fallen down. He disregarded all other archers. One desirous of prosperity should never indulge in such sentiments."

After some time, Bhim fell down. Before his death, Bhim said, "You liked me the most. I have fallen down. For what reason have I dropped down? Tell me if you know it."
Yudhisthir said, "You always boasted of your strength. You were a voracious eater. While eating, you never thought of the need of others. It is for that reason, O Bhim, that you have fallen down."

Yudhisthir proceeded further. He had only a dog as a companion. Lord Indra came there on an excellent car. He asked Yudhisthir to get in the car.
Yudhisthir said, "My brothers and Draupadi also must go to heaven. Without them, I do not want to go."
Indra said, "After casting off their bodies, they have reached their before you. You will see them in heaven. You will go to heaven with your body."
Yudhisthir said, "This dog is devotedly following me. He also must go with me."
Indra said, "There is no room in heaven for people with dogs. All merits of such people are taken away. Leave this dog."
Yudhisthir said, "Abandoning one who is devoted is sinful. I never give up a person that is terrified, nor one that is devoted to me, nor one that seeks my protection, saying that he is destitute, nor one that is afflicted, nor one that has come to me, nor one that is weak in protecting oneself, nor one that is solicitous of life. I shall not leave this dog just for my happiness."
Indra said, "You have renounced your brothers and Draupadi. Then, why this attachment with this dog?"
Yudhisthir said, "There is neither friendship nor enmity with those who are dead. When my brothers and Draupadi died, then there was no way I could revive them. That is why, I left them. I did not leave them so long they were alive."

Then the dog became Lord Yam (the lord of righteousness). He had taken the form of a dog to test Yudhisthir.

yeah i think she asked for a husband who was basically perfect, krishna explains that she has ended up with 5 husbands because the qualities she was asking for coudl not exist in one man alone.

Arjun won her at the Swambyar, and Bheem was with him at that time too. Arjun and Bheem talked on the way back home with Drupadi and Bheem asked Arjun how they were going to tell Kunti, their mother. Arjun said I'll say we brought alms, and Drupadi did not object to it ji. When they arrived home, Kunti was cooking and had her back to them. Arjun and Bheem both said mother we have brought alms ji. They were in hiding and were living as Brahmins. So their mother said divide among your brothers. When she turned around she saw Drupadi and asked Arjun where is the alms, and Arjun just hung his head. Then Kunti released who the alm was ji.

Kunti got angry at her sons and told them that it was wrong of them. She told them about the respect of a women etc. Then Yudhistar came and Kunti asked Dharamraj(Yuhistar) for a solution ji. He told them about women before Drupadi who had more than one husband, with one example having 8. Then he said that Kunti is a great being in this era and her words are never wrong, but Kunti said that how could Drupadi be divided. Just then Keshav came and told them that in Drupadi's previous birth she had asked for a husband containing 5 qualities. And the 5 Paandavs and these qualities, one being a follower of truth, and another being the most handsome. Drupadi then agreed and was married to all of them.

Hope this made sense ji, it made a lot of sense in my head. But things in my head usually make no sense once out

It is true that she married all the five because of what happened in her previous birth. But I used the word forced in the sense keeping only this birth (i.e. birth as Draupadi) in mind. I used the word forced to mean that the circumstances forced her. I did not mean to say that any human being forcibly married her to other four.
