For a while i've seen people talking about how Toshi only sings sufi songs so that must mean he isn't versitile. This show is to prove your good. and thats what he's trying to do by singing what he's good at. He's singing in what he has been trained in and what he has put hard work into learning.. whats so bad about that??
and i personally don't believe that he isn't versitile. i mean did you watch him sing songs like soni de nekhre and dard-e-disco in VOI?? He did em both perfectly with n0 mistakes.

so before saying he isn't versitile and why he only sings sufi songs think again.!

He didnt "did em both perfectly with no mistakes"
I think a better example of his versatility would have been "Yaar ko maine" when Kunal Ganjawala was the guest judge and "Tadap Tadap ho tum" when Shahid Kapoor was the judge. These two songs were amazingly sung by Toshi.
Soni de nakhre wasn't that impressive by Toshi, though It wasn't bad at all. It just wasn't that impresive. And Dard-eDisco wasn't all that impressive (it wasn't bad either), though I remember the judges pointing out some mistakes. 😛

Well, what about "Ek haasina thi" or "Maste Maste Maskalandar" or "Gumshuda" or "Yeh Reshmi Zulfein"...I know he loves sufi songs, but I really love his voice in soft songs too. Yeh Resh Zulfein was too good!

He should stick to his forte' sufi and folk music because not many mainstream singers can do justice to them. 😊

i dont get why you keep saying harshit and vinteet sang it better they did 2 lines of the song i mean c'mon harshit was yelling and vineet sounded like a lil kid.

they sang a lil and it totally wasnt enough to say they did it better.
