Edward was non-vegetarian before!

It surprises me...how he's actually killed so many people...😕...now he's all gentalman-ish..😳...haiii

But i find it doesn't make a difference in his character. He's realized his mistake and put a stop to it. His past has nothing to do with the present anymore?

No, but in Twilight, he's said he used to, but since he could read their thoughts, he would feel all guilty. That's why he stopped.
