Here is the detailed update for Friday's episode. So sorry for the delay!

EPISODE 339

Scene 1: Chelvi and GJ's home

Kalai emotionally blackmails Chelvi to visit their mother in jail. She reminds Chelvi how she accepted her (Chelvi) as her sister long before Arase accepted her as her daughter. Kalai begs Chelvi to find out what important matter Arase has to tell her. She refuses to leave the place until Chelvi agrees. Finally mangohead does, but reiterates it is only for Kalai's sake. Kalai and GJ smile happily.

Scene 2: Mr V and Dr Saro's mansion

Dr Saro is performing her prayers as Chelvi arrives. She waits until Doc Amma has finished, smiling fondly 😳 (Now if only the two mangoheads realised the truth about Mr. V and Arase!)

Doc amma greets Chelvi delightedly and applies vibuthi to her forehead. The two sit at the dining table to talk over coffee. Doc says she is relieved because Mr. V says all their troubles are over now. That is why she was praying to signify her thanks to God who had answered her prayers. Chelvi responds that good people's prayers are always answered by God. Saro then mentions her visit by Kalai. Kalai wanted her to visit Arase in jail. (Saro initially calls Arase Chelvi's mother, then corrects herself and says Kalai's mother)

Saro tells Chelvi she refused to go; after all why should she go? To listen to Arase tarnish darling hubby's reputation some more? Then Saro realises Chelvi has not said anything. She asks what's the matter. Chelvi replies that Kalai also came to her, asking her to visit Arase. Saro is shocked and asks what Chelvi's answer was. Chelvi says that she, too, refused to go. Why should she visit a woman who killed her own husband? (I guess this confirms for once and for all, Chelvi not only believes Arase's imprisonment is justified for having falsely jailed her once before, but that Arase killed KK. ) Saro smiles contentedly and says that Chelvi asked the right question. (For the first time I felt extremely irritated with the doctor; the way she smiled was so reminiscent of her hubby V. 😡)

Saro says Arase didn't realise Chelvi's worth before, but now she's in jail she realises what she let get away? But then Chelvi says Arase claimed to want to tell her some important info she had not revealed thus far. Now Saro becomes worried 😆, afraid Arase might reveal Chelvi's true paternity. She asks whether this claim had affected Chelvi's initial response. Chelvi replies no. Again Saro smiles 😈 and says she knew Chelvi wouldn't fall for Arase's tricks. She says Kalai was arguing for Arase's innocence in KK's murder. Chelvi says Kalai did the same to her. She adds that Kalai is unfortunate, too naive to understand her mother's true nature (Buck up, mangohead: Kalai is the only 1 of Arase's 3 kids to know her true nature is not capable of murdering anyone, let alone KK!)

Saro asks Kalai must have been shocked when Chelvi refused to see Arase? Then Chelvi drops the bombshell: she finally did agree to see Arase. Saro is all 😲. She asks if Chelvi is going in order to find out the important info Arase promised to reveal (read: the paternity). Chelvi says no, she is going for Kalai's sake (She quickly recaps Scene 1, which I am too lazy to retype here!)

Now Saro is definitely worried. She stammers that Arase might tell Chelvi wrong things. Chelvi responds that she is clear-minded; no one can confuse her. She bids goodbye to Saro, who distractedly responds in kind.

Scene 3: A forest, scene of GJ and Mr. V's rendezvous

GJ is laughing happily and Mr. V asks him what's up. GJ reminds V of the 100 crores Arase gave him in Chelvi's name. Mr V remembers and says GJ said he would use that money to become a big man (read: criminal mastermind) like his beloved FIL. GJ complains Chelvi refuses to sign the documents allowing GJ to set up a small business with this money. At first GJ says he wants his business to grow like this tree in front of them (pointing to a chopped down tree) 😆.

Mr V asks what is GJ going to do now? GJ replies he can't do anything, only Mr. V can. Mr V grins his usual wolfish grin and GJ says he can grin because he does business and owns 14 companies. He asks if V can spare one for him to run, so that he too can grin like Mr V. GJ reminds V of the forest where they met the last time, which was owned by Mr V. Mr V (with a straight face 😆) asks if GJ wants the forest. GJ quickly says no, just one small company will do. And Mr V can take his time to decide because GJ will take anything he gives. He says he awaits Mr V's phonecall. And even if he doesn't call, GJ will be back - because he loves to see his FIL's grin 😆.

But once GJ departs, Mr V's smile disappears and he looks angry. (Uh oh, GJ had better look out. FIL or not, he shouldn't mess with criminal masterminds like Mr V!)

Scene 4: Jail

Kalai leads Chelvi and GJ into the visiting room to see Arase. (I must say Arase is quite sumptuously dressed for a prison inmate!) Arase and Chelvi come face-to-face through the barred window (Another very good job by the special effects team).

Arase says she feared Chelvi might refuse to visit her like Saro did. Chelvi responds that she did refuse, that she didn't like to see Arase. Arase says she must have said that in the heat of the moment, but ultimately love had brought Chelvi to visit her. Chelvi admits it was love that ultimately brought her here, but not affection for Arase - but for Kalai.

Arase asks then Chelvi did not come for her (Arase's) sake? Chelvi responds why should she, for who is Arase to her?  Kalai is also shocked, and Arase reminds Chelvi she is her mother. Chelvi says that bond was severed by Arase along with the baby's umbilical cord. When she hears the word "amma", it is the face of the mother who raised her (Thangam - I miss Rombha Too Much! I hope the Creative Head will bring back the character!) comes to mind. Chelvi says the mother who showered affection on her then was different from Arase, as is the mother who showers affection on her now (Dr. Saro).

Arase asks if these two mothers mean more to Chelvi than she does. Chelvi replies that she has adopted two kids (Thamarai's children Sachin & Aish) and treats them no differently from her own biological daughter, Kaveri. But she has an underlying, deeper affection for Kaveri, for the girl is of her own flesh and blood. But that is not how Arase treated Chelvi. A flashback is shown of Arase chastising Chelvi for showing up at her Mumbai office. Chelvi says she had been so happy to learn that her biological mother was still alive. But Arase hated her since the moment she was conceived. Even after all those years, meeting her illegitimate daughter for the first time, Arase hated her. Arase didn't think of Chelvi as her daughter then, but Chelvi thought of her as her mother.

She says how everyone says about a daughter's love for her mother, and vice versa. But in her life it had turned out to be false. Chelvi corrects herself and says, Arase was the one who had turned it false. Arase just stands there, with tears in her eyes ...

Very emotional final scene 😭 The flashback to Mumbai showed how much the Special Effects had improved since then! But then again, that was back in the double-digit episode numbers - now we are into episode 339! There is still a chance for the big reveal in the next episode, right? Fingers crossed 😃

5th Update:

1. Selvi continues her tirade against Arasi.  How she had never been a mom to her. whenever she tried to be a daughter, she was asked to go away, how she was jailed, how arasi doesnt like her being friendly with V and his wife Sarojini. she says, her mom doesnt like when other are showing her love and affection, why she is jealous which made her falsely accuse V and his companies. Thats why V went to KK and asked him to talk to Arasi on his behalf. KK probably talked or scolded her (arasi) and how bad can she be by killing her own husband. Selvi accuses her of the worst mom of the world and that she has never been a human being especially after killing KK coz he helped her (selvi).  Kalai tries to interrupt, but arasi stops her (tears in her eyes) and says that selvi should do the talking, let her finish.  Selvi says that by seeing a woman who has killed her husband is a curse, she should go to many temples to wipe this off and she will go and bath (muzhukku) and never ever want to meet her mom in this life ... so saying she turns to go, GJ is also looking quietly. Arasi now asks her to stop on her tracks, says that till now she heard all that Selvi had to say, she had called her to tell her something very important, now is her turn to listen to what arasi had to say.

2.  Arasi says that she wants to tell something important now , Selvi interrupts by saying what is she going to say - that she had lots of affection indepth in her heart, that V is not a good guy but a criminal, that she did not kill her husband..? Arasi retaliates - angrily, yes... all the above 3 facts are a fact. She did have lots of affection for selvi, V is a bad guy and that she did not kill KK. She doenst like if Selvi is friendly with sarojini and V not because of jealousy, but she wants to protect Selvi. Arasi continues that she doesnt want her daughter selvi to be in company of an international criminal, she is against V coz she is a good cop and he is a bad guy, coz, he was born here but sold himself to international terrorists and she is trying to nab him. They show all the death scenes of bad injection vials, death of PG, kidnap and rescue of Aishwarya from NT, etc.  Arasi shouts that she will one day come out of the prison and bring V to court, at that time he will tell selvi that he is her father. Selvi, kalai, GJ (thirumuzhi) all are shocked. Arasi continues, yes, that V is her father, she did not show her affection when selvi met her first coz, she doenst want to destroy her family's trust and happiness, she wanted to make things understand first and then accept her, selvi has become a pawn in the hands of V coz, he knows that when she is with him, Arasi will not dare to go against as he may endanger selvi's life. after the injection vial incidents and consequent investigation placed with arasi - in which she found out his criminal activities, he moved the coin to bring selvi into his company and won her over with his kindness and affection and used her against arasi, without knowing all these, she also fell prey to his games. She says, if he is really an affectionate father, he would have come much before itself to protect the daughter, but V did not do that, he only did this to his advantage, waited for the right opportunity, etc. Selvi just looks on in shock and tears in her eyes.

3. Did he ever tell you that he is her dad, he could have tried to search for you when you were little and taken selvi into his custody, he could have atleast told her when he gave her a job or when she became friendly with his whole family. why didnt' he do that, coz, he is a criminal and using her. Now, that Arasi has told her all the truths, selvi can go, asks her to go. selvi goes away in tears and in daze. kalai is trying to talk, when arasi says, its difficult for even her to accept this fact, so how will selvi accept it easily, it will take her time, but she will understand this mom one day, coz, mom's love is the only thing which is real in this world. 👏👏. kalai says, whoever or whatever it is, she will try her best to bring her mom out, everything will be alright. Arasi touches kalai's hands thru the wired jail and says that these words that kalai said were not just words but her life itself and asks her to go with tears 😭  GJ comes and asks the jail superintendent to allow him to talk to his mother-in-law but he disallows saying that the time is over, GJ says he will come again next day and thinks what to do next, he picks up the phone and tells everything to V all in mute. then he says its up to Mr. V to be careful, whatever happened he has told. 😡 FREEZE on GJ's face.

Very great acting by Radhika ...👏👏👏 awesome.

6th update:

1. Starts with GJ calling V (in mute) and telling all details and ask him to be careful. Sarojini is sitting with a sad face and thinking hard. V comes and enquires, she says its about selvi and arasi meeting, something important thats going to be exchanged, etc. He asks whether she is afraid of arasi telling the truth about he being the father, then, so be it, let her tell. he further adds that arasi will tell all badly about him to selvi and make him look bad in her eyes, but he doesnt care, if sarojini trusts him, then he will face anything in this world .. , so saying, he asks her to give her smile so he could move to office, she does that and looks pensive again, that servant/cook (name..?) comes and gives her coffee but she refuses and wants to wait for selvi, she arrives.

2. Sarojini welcomes her, but selvi starts blasting her with her questions - why did she put up an act of being affectionate to her, why is everyone kicking her around like a ball, why did she tell a story which was hers and asks her opinion of whether she will accept her dad, etc. Sarojini is speechless but she asks her what happened, did she meet arasi, etc. selvi asks who is her dad, is V her dad, why did she not tell the facts before, her kids and the servant all are looking on in shock and all are having tears. Sarojini shakes her head 'yes' V is her dad. selvi questions as to why she was kept in the dark, she knows everything that V is a criminal, sarojini interrupts saying that herr mom has lit a fire in you against V and herself, arasi is lying, had told her about all wealth got thru crime, etc. but sarojini argues, everything is a lie, her husband is good, arasi didnt' want her family and selvi family to be happy. the only truth in what arasi said was that V is selvi's dad. Selvi asks if all of them are very good, then why didnt' sarojini tell her the truth about her identity. sarojini says, yes selvi's anger is justified. But, she says that her V's action were also justified. V saw her first time when she came for interview and gave the job for her talents, but gave her the affection like a dad and selvi came to know about sarojini only in the clinic, none introduced her. they liked eachother and started a friendship like mother-daughter. sarojini in tears says that she had started showing her love for selvi much before she knew that she(selvi) was V's daughter. selvi came and solved her family problems, thats when sarojini had told V that she wished she had a daughter like selvi and V gave her the shocking news that indeed selvi is his daughter.

3. sarojini cries that she never new this info before this. selvi angrily says that then, why didnt' she tell her the info at that time, sarojini had hidden the fact so that she could protect V and his crimes.  But sarojini now lectures of how she wanted to say that, but V told her not to as selvi would reject her dad and his family, she may go away from them, etc. thats why the facts were hidden coz they didnt' want to lose selvi. even at that point, sarojini had said in the guise of telling a london friends' life and selvi had said that she wouldnt' accept her dad if he came after 25 years. that was why they didnt tell her and that arasi is trying her best to separate selvi, afterall  arasi had killed her own husband , so she goes to any lengths to protect herself. come what may, sarojini says she wants selvi by her side at any cost. selvi now asks where Mr.V is and turns back to meet him in office. sarojini cries and hugs her adopted kids. V is frustrated and bangs the windows and tables, takes out his gun and hides it under a file on the table and sees selvi coming with tears into the office. FREEZE.

A very good acting by Anuradha krishnamurthy as Sarojini ..👏👏👏 hope sparks fly when V and selvi meet tomorrow.

Sorry am late guys. Was a bit busy.

Selvi sails into vish's office and with a constipated look, stares at his broad back.  Obligingly vish stands like that and then turns around for full effect.  There is no change in Selvi's expression.  Vish argues the case from his side.  He moans, and mopes, and even wipes his eyes in frustration.  Selvi stands there like a stone.  Vish now begs pleads and is willing to touch her feet.  Constipated Selvi is unmoved.  Vish strides across the room, picks up the gun he had hidden amongst the books and gives it to her and tell her shoot me shoot me… Selvi feels the gun (but her mara mandai does not ask her…where did the gun come from.  If he is a nermai business man why does he have a gun???  If it is for security he must have body guards…he is not going to shoot people down as if he is a goonda…but like I said…her maramandai is unquestioning!!) but gives it back to him .

 

She hands the gun back and says you and arase both of you made a pawn outta me.  Both of you can justify your stand.  Neither of you thought about me.  She feels sorry for herself.  Vish tries to convince her saying she is the judge now and he will be accept any punishment for the mistakes he did..and Selvi mouths about more injustcie done to her and crawls more into her self mode. and leaves.  Vish looks triumphant.

 

She goes home and sits on the oonjal and thinks about her past.  How her mom did not accept her.  And how vish did not tell her the truth etc.  and then she walks back into the house.  Gj is there.  He says she should be happy.  Her mom gave her 100 crores.  Now her dad is the owner of 2000 crores business which could also become hers. This time he pits the mom against the father.  He keeps arguing for arase which makes our mara mandai mad…and she vows to stand by vish and nobody else.

Im not sure who's turn to do thursday updates. But here goes some highlights. Hope its okay 😳

GJ meets Mr.V and ask for a office for his own. Mr. V offers money instead. But GJ don't want money, he wants one of Mr.V's profit office so he can carry on doing business. GJ don't want to start a new business.(This guy is urrrgg 😡) Mr.V brainwash gives GJ one of his company. GJ can choose which one he likes. GJ happy.

Sarojini's kids are happy Selvi is their sister. Both are waiting for Selvi to come as Sarojini so upset since Selvi left. Brother tells her Selvi will definetely come.

GJ comes to office. Really funny scenes here. GJ prays before going into the office. He interviews back all his staff and not happy with them. He dismiss all of them and makes arrangements to appoint new staff. GJ too wants a PA, female only 😆

Selvi comes to Sarojini's house. The kids welcome her happily. Selvi is happy to see them. Selvi goes to meet her Amma. Sarojini is very happy to see Selvi. She starts crying. Selvi says she will never leave her at all. Sarojini tells her she knows selvi won't leave her. But she is hurt with Selvi's words. Selvi says she was upset. Both loving scenes..... ummm Selvi gives her final word saying Sarojini is her amma. Sarojini is very happy.

Thanks to Isaitamil and Viji for filling in with Friday's highlights. (With regard to Tamil serials being the topic of discussion on phonecalls, I have an interesting tale to tell. At a wedding recently my grandmother overheard some old "aunties" in great agitation discussing somebody's husband being killed. Thinking it was something serious my grandmother hastened to enquire. She was irritated to learn that they were in fact discussing KK's murder on Arase serial! 😆 I told her not be so shocked; if your grandson had been there, he too would have joined in the discussion! 😆)

Anyway, here is the detailed update for Friday's episode (I typed half the update, and then lost it 😭 so had to retype):

EPISODE 344

Scene 1: Chennai Courthouse

Mangohead and her hubby, the sly fox (GJ), Kalai and her hubby, the Arasimuttai Kannan (AM) are all seated on one side of the spectators' stands. On the other side (such that he is next to Chelvi) is seated her Daddy Dearest (Mr. V, occasionally DD). (Some extras are paid to sit in the stands behind them, but Archana's actress fees could not be paid for Arase's sole daughter-in-law to be in attendance. We shall therefore assume Selvarani had to stay at home and look after two babies.)

Senthamizharase is called to the dock. The judge asks her for her plea to the charge of murdering her husband KK. Arase pleads not guilty, saying she had no reason to kill him. She declares that, while all couples encounter some marital problems, how much they love each other is not apparent to others.

The public prosecutor (PP) jumps on this. Arase says she loved her husband like an elder brother 😕 but marital problems occured like with any other married couple. She says Someone took advantage of this strife to frame her for KK's murder. (Chelvi looks completely unconvinced 😡.) Arase further says if all wives killed their husbands over minor marital problems, half the women in the country would be widows. She has nothing more to add.

"Objection your Honour!" shouts the PP. (My God, for once he does not say the frequently misused "I objection!" Is the world coming to an end? ) "Does Senthamizharase madam have nothing more to say, or is there nothing she can say?" He points out that the gun used to shoot KK was Arase's personal handgun, and that said gun was missing from her house after the killing. A woman in her profession knows how to keep a gun safely. He speculates that, after shooting KK, Arase didn't know what to do with the gun and disposed of it.

"I object, your Honour!" says Udhay. (OMG, another correct use of the legal phrase. The world is coming to an end!! ) He says that it's not impossible for someone to enter Arase's house and steal the gun. He admits the gun used to kill KK was Arase's, but the question is whether she fired the shot or not. He asks permission to question the arresting officer.

Inspector Rathnam takes the stand. Udhay asks him to confirm that the police were tipped off to the murder by an anonymous call from a public phone booth, and consequently they were unable to trace the caller. Rathnam agrees. Udhay then points out that the police have, in similar cases previously, traced anonymous callers from public booths. Rathnam is unable to respond as Udhay states that he is yet to identify the caller.

Udhay now moves to a different line of questioning. He asks how the anonymous caller was able to identify Senthamizharase as the shooter of Karthigeyan? The caller must have known both Arase and KK. (Interesting reaction shot to GJ here, who looks worried - our suspicions that he was the caller look more likely than ever! 😉) Udhay gets the inspector to admit this might be the case, but he did not investigate from this angle. Udhay now goes over the points of the case built by Rathnam. He asks what was to stop KK from writing in his diary that Arase was going to kill him, and then killing himself with his wife's gun to cast suspicion on her? Rathnam says this suicide scenario is impossible because the gun wasn't found at the scene.

Udhay argues that similarly, the gun not being found at Arase's house was his basis for accusing her of murder. He asks what is Rathnam's wife's attitude towards her husband? Rathnam replies she thinks of him as her deivam. Udhay asks if this means she perform puja, milk abishegam and shows katpuram to him? Rathnam says one should not take things so literally. Udhay points out this is exactly what he means - not to take KK's diary entry so literally.

He tells Rathnam that he had arrested Arase hastily on insufficient evidence - is it because he thought he could gain fame by arresting the DGP, or was he acting on someone else's behalf? Rathnam denies both allegations. Udhay excuses him from the stand and calls his next witness - Mr. V.

Scene 2:

Mr. V takes the stand (Udhay has to crane his neck to see Mr V's face 😆). Udhay has only one question for Mr. V: what is his relationship to Chelvi? After some hesitation V admits he is Chelvi's DD. Udhay reminds V that he alleged Arase had declared him a national traitor out of revenge because he and his wife showed affection to Chelvi. Udhay points out this is illogical as Arase had disclaimed Chelvi; why should she be irritated by Mr. V showing affection to his own daughter?

Mr. V can't think of a reply. Udhay further says V had called KK to complain of Arase's threats towards him. Udhay asks why Mr. V, who is a multimillionaire VVIP with many connections, has to fear Arase? He says this was a ridiculous allegation by Mr. V and that he has many more questions for him, but not today. He dismisses V and calls his final witness: Chelvi.

Chelvi takes the stand reluctantly after GJ prods her to go. (Another excellent job by the Special Effects in this scene as Arase and Chelvi face each other in the docks.) Udhay says, again, he has only one question: what is the character of Chelvi's husband GJ? Chelvi hesitates to reply, so Udhay supplies the details: GJ had spent some years in jail, he had tricked her into marrying him, and had caused many problems to her. Chelvi admits this is true. (GJ's discomfort as his crimes are listed by Udhay is hilarious to watch. 😆)

Udhay asks then why didn't Chelvi kill GJ? Chelvi is stunned. Udhay points out this is the exact same accusation Chelvi has thrown on Arase. He insinuates that Chelvi made the accusation based on her hatred towards Arase for not accepting her as a daughter. Chelvi says that's not why she accused Arase. Udhay asks her to deny she has any hatred toward Arase. Chelvi is unable to do this. Udhay dismisses her with the same statement that he has many more questions for her another time.

Udhay now presents his closing argument to the Judge. He says the investigation was done hastily by the inspector. There are no known witnesses for Arase to interfere with. Hence he requests the judge to grant bail to Arase.

Scene 3:

The judge delivers his verdict, agreeing with Udhay's closing statements. Coupled with Arase's high standing and achievements, he sees no reason to deny the request for bail. The case is adjourned to next month.

Chelvi stomps off angrily at the verdict. Arase comes to hug Udhay but he is not receptive (Clearly he still does not  believe her despite his own arguments, which he did only as his duty as a lawyer. ) Kalai is disappointed that Arase can't come right away, but must complete some formalities at the station. As Arase walks past Mr. V, they exchange glares. GJ lags behind to talk to Mr. V and consoles him that Arase has only been granted bail, not cleared of the charges. He then excuses himself from "maama sir" to accompany "athai". 😆

Alone in the courtroom, Mr. V is left without his usual evil smile...

May 12th update:

1. Starts with GJ driving the car and arasi, kalai, udhay sitting quietly beside. GJ tries to break the ice why are all silent, arasi says she never expected to get bail, but udhay argued very well, never realized how good udhay is as a lawyer. GJ says that he also gave some points to udhay, had wanted to become a lawyer himself but doesnt like to lie thats why did not become one ..😕 Udhay just gives a stern face to GJ and is silent.  Arasi asks GJ mapillai to drive to their other house as she will have memories of KK in the old house. Kalai asks why coz,they will all have memories of dad wherever they go. Arasi says that those memories of living with her husband will tie her down and will not be able to do things that she intends to do, want a change and asks GJ to go their other house.  GJ though at first agrees with what kalai says, agrees with arasi's POV also and drives to that new house. After stepping out of the car arasi says that she hasnt' seen udhay's baby, so asks him to go and fetch rani and baby and all can live in this other house, together. Now Udhay opens his mouth saying that he doesnt want any problems, so he will continue to live in the old house with his family ..

2. Arasi wonders and asks what is Udhay's problem in living with her, Udhay retorts that he doesnt want any problem in the future thats why he wants to live away. kalai interrupts and tries convincing arasi that let him be alone (thanikudithanam) and that she is going to be with arasi, kannan will be coming with the baby anytime. GJ confronts udhay saying that he thinks big about himself after getting bail for arasi, udhay is disgusted and says yes he got her bail, not GJ and he will also get her out of the case also. GJ now says that udhay is like 'jackfruit' he is sweet inside and loves his mom. but now, udhay bursts out saying that no, he doesnt love her as his mom, he had argued that arasi was only accused but he himself doenst believe that she had not killed his dad KK. arasi looks on shocked and brimming with tears. udhay continues that he has done only his duty as a lawyer to his client, whatever it is, its lawyer's duty to protect his client and thats exactly that he has done.  GJ shouts that so all along he (udhay) was doing only his duty, udhay also shouts yes, it is his duty to protect his client.  Now, kalai comes to him and cries and says how come udhay has changed so much, he was always a mommy's son/child, he was always going around mom clutching her saree, even daddy use to tease him why mom is the only important person, now what happened (she recounts her childhood of how udhay gets upset when mom feeds kalai, first, shows report cards to mom only and even married the girl that mom chose, etc) Udhay says that he believes daddy, he believes what KK had written in his diary, dad never lies, kalai argues that mom is also like that, mom didnt' kill dad, arasi just looks on with tears, udhay says with tears that the moment mom killed dad everything was gone. Kalai shouts "chi", udhay is neither a son nor a humanbeing,  instead of giving birth to a son like udhay, mom could have had a stone which would have helped her more, for this udhay gives her a hard slap on her cheeks 😭, even GJ clutches his cheeks 😆😆 in shock.

3.  GJ shouts and asks why arasi is not intervening, he is beating his sister and calls out for kannan and reaslises he is not there. Now udhay calmly states that he will do his duty, eventhough he doenst believe his client being innocent, GJ intervenes and says why he beat kalai, udhay says its his sister and he has lots of love and affection for her. he says sorry to her for beating her as she is his sister and he shouldnt' have done that as she is now a wife to another person and apologises again and says, kalai doenst know what happened when she was mentally unstable, how KK had tried his level best to cure her and mom was not present, lots of things happening in the house which she doenst know, etc. he touches her cheeks and goes away saying sorry again. arasi wonders how come he argued for me in the court for bail and what is he gonna do to get her out, she was proud of her son, how did he accept to argue for her. now kalai says with a flashback of how she made udhay accept to argue for mom only as a client not for any relationships, etc. GJ says he also convinced udhay for the same and says lets seek another lawyer for the case, but kalai interrupts that udhay only will be their lawyer and takes arasi inside and makes her sit....FREEZES on arasi's face.

13th may update:

1. Kalai makes arasi sit inside the house and goes to the kitchen. arasi thinks (flashback scenes) of how KK body was found in the beach, how V challenged her and also challange from Lion, udhay's angry shouts from yesterday's episode, etc. She breaks down crying. Kalai comes running with the coffee and tries to pacify her and puts arasi on her shoulders and consoles her saying that why do you care about what people are saying, but arasi crying "its my own son, born off me telling that am the killer' 😭 😭 kalai tries again saying dont worry,he will change, her daughter (herself) is there on her side, she will try and defenitely bring her out and that they both will win one day. kalai asks her not to cry, she had been the best mom and had always been there in distress, arasi should be strong and find out the culprits, if not, where will kalai and her family gain strenth. Arasi is kinda happy and cries on her shoulder that her daughter is like a mother to her now, she will not lose, she will be strong and have to find out the real killer, if its Lion or Mr. V. whoever it is she will find. Kalai says, mom has faced so many hurdles and many testing times and cases in her whole life, now again its on her face, so lets face it and yes, we will together find and win this battle and sheds tears too. 😭 very beautiful mom/daughter scene.

2. Udhay comes back home and rani enquires eagerly if athai got bail and where she is, he ignores her and goes upstairs but she persists and asks him, he tells yes he got her bail and she has gone to another house. rani innocently says that she will also pack all her things and lets go there to her, he says no they are not going, he fought this case only for kalai's sake and will also win the case for his mom just for his sister. he has no emotions toward his mom. his mom doest want to come back to this house coz, she will have memories of her dead husband, but, Udhay wants his dad's memory intact, its not easy for him to erase all that had happened, he wants to always remember his dad, and will not forgive his mom ever. rani just is flabbergasted and says nothing.

GJ and V meeting (some place) - V says that GJ told that he will see that arasi doesnt get bail, but what has happened that small boy udhay has won in getting her bail. (V is grinding his teeth) GJ calmly says that she has got only bail not full independence from the case, V says arasi will not be quiet,she will try and take action, GJ says he will always be with her and he will keep a check for each action she takes, so not to worry ...😡😡 (nalla mappillai...God...dammit...😒😒) he further states to V that its very hard to win against a person by standing along or on the opposite side, but the win would be easy by being with the enemy and put them down after winning the trust.... (ayyOO, thanga mudiyavillai...this GJ - yaaravadhu pOttuthallunga...🤢) basically he says "veliyila irundhu kedukaradha vida, uravaadi kedukaradhu romba sulabam" 😡 he says 'mama sir, mama sir' in between while mouthing all these dialogues. GJ asks V not to worry so much, he will take care of everything, arasi, udhay, kalai all of them, he will always watch them and also report from time to time.
Scene shifts to Lion's house, his vakil says that nowadays lion doesnt smile at all, to which lion says that his smile was lost with his son. the vakil tells something as to the workers in the factory asking for more bonus, etc. Lion dejectedly asks him to provide them their demands, afterall, he has no son left, then for whom can he give his wealth to, so fulfil the demands. while saying this, one adiyal comes and tells about arasi getting bail and all coz of Kalaiarasi. Lion is shocked and calls his vakil to his aid and says all his attempts to get vengeance against arasi family has gone down the drain, all because of kalai getting better and also coz of his wife, so kalai should be killed in front of his wife ponnuthayi's eyes... (god... romba too much villains now in this serial,kodumai...😭).

3. ada raama...!!! GJ interviewing ladies for PA post - he asks his manager if people have come, he says yes, lots of ladies 😕 have come, GJ asks him to send one by one. 1st girl comes - he says he will give a situation and then decide if she is able, she shakes her head. GJ asks if she has a lover and he forgets her and she is forced to marry another person, what she will do, this girls answers that she will commit suicide. GJ cooly says, he cannot give this job to her, as, if she commits suicide, then he has to do these interviews all over again, asks her to go. next, 2nd girl comes  - he asks her if she has a boyfriend, she says, the next door baskar is her lover, (before she says of she has different names by mom, dad, grandparents, etc.. cha..kodumai). now GJ asks her what she will do if he left her, this girl answers that she will go for another guy ..😡, afterall she was in love with the opposite house kannan before baskar came along..(. 😈😳  ippidi oru thamizh ponnu ..devudaa). GJ asks her to go away as she will be busy selecting lovers instead of concentrating on herjob, she walks of saying thank you, will get someother job, i dont' care. GJ is worried as to the interview going nowhere, then, he sees this beautiful face thru the glass pane of his room. this angel-face enters (new actress...can anyone give a name...i havent' seen her before) with a beautiful smile, GJ is mesmerised and he gets up from his seat, this beauty comes in and sits down on her chair and asks GJ also to take his seat ...😆😆😉, GJ still dazed looks at her...FREEZE.

*that new girl yavanarani ends up taking interview of GJ.GJ vitta jollula TV screen nanachi pochu😆.I too think she is somebodys plant.

*GJ lies to selvi upon opening a new business & asks her to cut ribbon.

*Arase goes & sees Home secretary & assures to come out of this case soon.
*HC arranges for some fat guy(i forgot his name) to help arase without her knowing.
*MR.V offers Selvi double the salary&working partnership.Selvi refuses.
*She even refuses to accept him as dad(one good thing done by mango head)

Thursday HL

* selvi asks sternly V whether he gave the company to GJ for her sake OR did GJ demand it.

*V says i thut of giving away 4 or 5 companies & gave one to GJ since he is honest & sincere. gr8 joke of the year

*V leaves & GJ & selvi goes inside the cabin.GJ sits & suddenly gets up seeing Y.rani & falls down.Y.rani runs to catch him.Selvi is not impressed.Gj sends her to cabin fearing selvi.

*Long crappy discussion by Mr.&Mrs.V abt arase coming out.But mrs.v says she is happy that arase got out as she might have faced problems in jail.She even asks why V is distressed if he made no mistakes.

* Selva rani asks uday to open office so that she & their child can eat from his earnings.Were they hungry till now?

*Ta da Uday opens office (after flahback scenes of his dad.)

*selvi calls & wishes them.
