Highlights for May 9:
1. Shuklaji stops the fight. Guptaji suggests that Shulkaji decide what should be done with the money. Sandeep is suspicious of Lal
2. Sandeep tells Urmi that her father wont bother her for few days as he now has Rs. 3 Cr to bother about.
3. Deewane attempt to impress Shuklaji with their schemes. All families discuss how to convince Shuklaji that their idea is the best.
4. Sandeep finds Lal in CG again and asks him if he enjoys watching tamasha. Sandeep is confident the mohalla will stick together while Lal is sure money will create problems.
5. Everyone tries to convince Bauji about their idea. Sujata and Pammi have their usual fight...upar se sweet andhar se gaali. Even the deewane start fighting over the money. Sandeep watches this silently and remembers Lal's words.
6. Naresh and his father have a fight...so do Gyaniji and Bashir. Sandeep and Urmi have a fight too as Urmi wanted him to take the money and he doesnt want impress her parents with the money. Urmi feels he doesnt care whether they marry or not.
7. Sandeep and Bauji are very worried. Sandeep says he will think what do. Bauji sees something in the newspaper.
8. Bauji tells Siddharth and the mohalla that he wants to return the money but Siddharth refuses to take it. Bauji says that in that case he wants Sandeep to get the money(Sujata happy).
9. Sandeep says that though he kept refusing to intervene he really wanted to the cheque for himself so that the money can be used correctly. He donates the money to PM's relief fund for earthquake victims and asks Siddharth to give the money there.
10. The Siddharth says that he is actually Lal and the man they thought was Lal is actually Siddharth who wanted to test the people there. The real Siddharth says he has learnt a lot from Colnelgunj and wants to give another cheque😉. Now whole of CG refuse the cheque. 😆
Update for May 9:
Shuklaji stops the people from fighting. He says if they keep fighting like this they will never reach a conclusion. Guptaji suggests that Shuklaji decides what to do with the money. Sandeep also insists on the same. Shuklaji agrees on the condition that whatever he decides everyone must accept it. Everyone agrees. Shuklaji tells Sid that by the next evening he will let him know his decision. Sid is fine with that as he too will be leaving the next day. While all this is happenning it is obvious that Sandeep is suspicious of Lal and keeps observing him.
Urmi serves Sandeep his dinner and he starts eating. Urmi asks Sandy what was he talking to her father standing in a corner. Sandy says that Rasik was trying to convince him of his scheme. Urmi says she was worried that her father found out about them. Sandeep says that her father wont bother her for few days since now he has Rs. 3 Cr to think about. Sandeep has half his food and goes away to wash his hands. Urmi asks him who will have the rest but Sandy ignores her.
The next morning Shuklaji is praying at the temple. Jugle comes there and tries to convince Shuklaji that his scheme of farming rajma and rice. Rahul also comes there to convince Shuklaji that Rs. 3 Cr would be best spent making a film. Shuklaji makes a quick exit. All the families discuss how to convince Shuklaji of their individual scheme. Naresh convinces his father to go to Shuklaji and talk about his plan to buy real estate since he had suggested Shuklaji's name. Pammi tells Sukka that he must go and convince Shuklaji of his scheme otherwise Sujata may get the money. Sujata meanwhile wants Rasik to go and convince Shuklaji of his idea as otherwise Pammi will have her house repaired with the money. Rasik asks why would Shuklaji listen to him. Sujata says that because soon they would be relatives. Before Rasik can probe further she diverts his attention. Saurabh and Mahua are having a fight. Saurabh is angry that Mahua supported Sukka's idea. Mahua asks him if he thinks he is the only one thinking about the future generation. Saurabh screams(so that the mohalla can hear) that only he is thinking of the next generation and they dont know how to handle the money. Mahua doesnt give him his lunch. Saurabh finds even his scooter is sick and finally goes to office walking.
Sandeep comes down and finds Lal eating at Ratiram's cafe. He asks Lal why does he keep coming there. Is he attached to CG or does he enjoy watching the fun? Sandeep says that at home while changing curtains people have disagreements and this is a matter of 3 Cr. Lal says that money can change anyone. But Sandeep is sure the matter would be resolved by this evening. Lal reminds him that he had said the same the previous day. Sandy asks how much he earns...maybe 1-2 lakhs a month. Now if he gives him the money what will he do? Lal has no answer. Sandy points out that this the dilmenna in CG. When a well to do guy like him cant decide who can these simple middle class people come to a decision so soon? Lal asks Ratiram for his bill. Ratiram refuses and says that already the money he has brought has created lots of problems in CG. Sandeep is touched and also upset.
Everyone tries to convince Bauji about their scheme. The women have their gossip session(Sujata back in the gang). Sujata and Pammi praise each others schemes but within themselves have only bitter thoughts for each other. Rose cleverly asks if their husbands would refuse the money of given the responsibility. Sujata and Pammi quickly say that ofcourse they would take up the responsibility. Rose, Mahua and Zeenat snigger at the two rivals. Bauji is passing by. Mushtaq now revelas his plans of buying an IPL team and naming it Krazy Kolnelgunj 11. Rahul says its a bad idea since every player charges crores for it. Shuklaji goes from there. Rahul and Jugle tell Mushtaq not to give bad ideas and go back to tailoring. Mushtaq says that atleast he is not bekar like them. The friends start fighting as Rahul and Jugle feel that Mushtaq is a mere tenant and shouldnt interfere in the 3 Cr. Sandeep watches them fight from his balcony and remembers Lal's words.
Naresh asks his father if Shuklaji is convinced with his plans. His father says how can he convince Shuklaji when he himself didnt understand it. Naresh is annoyed at his father, his generation and his lack of ambition. The two have a fight. Gyaniji and Bashir see a worried Shuklaji passing by and Gyanji remarks how everyone has made Shulkaji's life hell by trying to convince him. Gyaniji thinks that repairing houses is a good idea but Bashir supports Saurabh's idea. Gyanji says he doesnt care for the houses as he is a tenant. Bashir takes offence and they are miffed with each other. Sandeep and Urmi discuss the tension in the mohalla. Urmi says he is responsible. He should have taken the money. Atleast because of the money it would have been easier for her mother to convince Rasik. Sandeep says earlier she was filmi now she is mad. Their marriage isnt dependant on some cheque from London. Urmi says afterall 3 Cr has some prestige. Sandeep is angry that she wants him to make an impression on her parents with the money. He thinks that if they have to marry it will happen otherwise it wont. Urmi is angry that only she cares for their marriage...he simply isnt bothered and stomps away. Sandeep wonder who all he must manage. Sandeep goes to Shuklaji. Gayatri has told him about the fight between Naresh and Guptaji. Bauji tells about Saurabh and Mahua fighting. Bauji is worried what to decide...if he pleases one he will offend 10 others. Sandeep says he will think of something and goes away. Bauji notices something in a newspaper.
In the evening Sid comes to hear Shuklaji's decision. Shuklaji wants Sid to take the money back as it has divided the mohalla. Shuklaji gives a little lecture on the same. Sid however refuses to take the money back and asks him to name one person who should get the money. Bauji says in that case give the cheque to Sandeep Shukla. Sandeep looks happy hearing this while the mohalla look at the father-son duo suspiciously. Only Sujata is happy. Sandeep says that though he kept telling that he wants to keep away from the matter he really wanted the money for himself so that he can use it correctly. So he has come prepared with his cheque book. He gives Sid a cheque and asks him to donate it to PM's relief fund for earthquake victims. Everyone is happy and clap for Sandy. Only Rasik in the background doesnt look too happy.
Sid says that yes Mr. Siddharth Parasrampuria can arrange for the money to be donated and he isnt him. He is actually Lal while the person whom they thought to be Lal is Sid. Real Sid now apologizes to the residents of CG for trying to create problems between them. He had heard a lot about the place and wanted to see if what he heard was true. He agrees to donate the money but wants to give a cheque to people of CG. Now everyone refuses the same.
