Highlights for May 2:
1. CG gets a bounty of Rs. 3 Cr from the late Gopal Parasrampuria who was helped by CG to start his steel empire. The cheque is for the most honest man in CG. (Btw Sandeep's hair is as bad as ever while Mili makes a comeback)
2. Pammi reassures Urmi that she wont tell anything to Rasik and will get her married to Sandeep. Parasrampuria Jr asks CG to decide who amongst them is the most honest and responsible so that he can handover the cheque to him and that person will utilize the money for CG. Guptaji asks Sandeep to keep the cheque with him for the time being.
3. Urmi wants Sandeep to keep the cheque since he is the most decent guy in the mohalla as he took so long to say 'Yes' to her. There is a cute scene between them with Urmi being her usual filmy self.
4. Rasik visits Pammi-Sukka and they suggest Sandeep is the best candidate. Pammi tries to hint to Rasik about Sandeep and Urmi but Sukka stops her.
5. The CG folks decide to have a meeting to decide who gets the cheque.
6. All the mohalla people discuss with their families what would they do with the Rs. 3 Cr.
6. Rasik, Sukka, Ratiram and Rangeela decide to support each other in the meeting.
7. In the meeting the mohalla is not able to decide what they will do with the money and start fighting. Parasrampuria and his aide see this and Sandeep notices them.
Update for May 2:
A man arrives in a big car in CG. He is looking for the most honest man in CG. The deewane volunteer that they fit the bill. The man obviously is no fool and goes to Guptaji and Gyaniji sitting and having their usual gossip session. He tells them that he has brought a cheque for Rs. 3 Cr to be given to the most honest man in CG. Jugle overhears this and runs home. Meanwhile Pammi is fuming over her fight with Sujata while Sukka is dreaming of winning a lottery when Jugle comes with the good news that Sukka has got Rs. 3 Cr. The three run out to find whole of CG gathered around the stranger. Soon the stranger's boss arrives in another car. He shows them a photo of a man. Old timers like Bauji and Gyaniji recognize him as Gopi the utensils thela wala. The second stranger is Mr. Parasrampuria the son of Gopal Parasrampuria who used to sell steel utensils in CG 40 years ago. He reminds them that CG folks had given his father a few hundreds to start his business. With that money he built an empire but never forgot his first investors-the people of CG. Last month he passed away and instructed his son to handover this cheque to CG. Since CG doesnt have a trust or society he wants to give the cheque to CG's most honest and responsible person so that he can decide what to do with the money for the betterment of CG. He gives them two days to decide on whose name the cheque should be.
While this is going on downstairs the Mehta women wonder why a crowd has gathered in the mohalla. Urmi is worried if Rasik came to know about Sandeep and her. Sujata feels Pammi is responsible. Urmi goes down and requests to Pammi(who is standing in her verandah) to please not tell anything to Rasik. Pammi says Sujata and she always fight and will keep doing so. But Urmi shouldnt worry. She will get her married to Sandeep.
Urmi cant believe that the cheque is for real. Sandeep says he has done research and the Rs. 3 Cr is real. She wonders who will get it. Sandeep says the mohallas most decent guy will get it. Urmi says why guy...why not a girl? Urmi has an idea. Sandeep should get the money. Afterall the guy who took so many years to say 'Yes' to her is along with being a little dumb is also a very decent guy. Sandeep says that then they will take the money and run away. She makes plans for the money too. Sandeep shows her the door. But Urmi says she is looking at him. When he wont behave like a filmi hero someone has to do the job. Sandeep tells her that he too wants to know what a hero is like. Urmi says he is someone seeing whom she would start blushing. Sandeep pretends Rasik has come there. Urmi gets scared and falls on his lap. Sandeep starts laughing and Urmi says she wanted him to be a hero not villan.
Rasik comes to Sukka's house to discuss about the money. Sukka says that Sandeep fits the bill as the most honest and responsible person in the mohalla. Also he is eligible to boot. Rasik agrees that there is no ways about that. Pammi says then Sandeep should be given the money as well as the girl. Rasik is surprised at this comment. Sukka changes the topic and looks at Pammi angrily. The men in the mohalla have a meeting and decide to meet in the evening to decide who gets the money. Sandeep wants to keep away from the money and so does Guptaji.
The only topic being discussed in every house in the mohalla is the Rs. 3 Cr. The deewane already have lots of dreams with the Rs. 3 Cr. Parasrampuria Jr's aide Lal returns to CG. He goes to Ratiram and suggests to him to start a sweets factory with the money. Lal asks Rasik about his plans with the Rs. 3 Cr. Rask wants to open a supermarket with it. Meanwhile Naresh wants to invest the moeny in real estate while his mother wants to the moeny to be used to beautify CG. Saurabh and Mahua feel it would be best to invest the moeny is a safe FD for their future generation. Sukka and Pammi want the money to be used to repair all the houses in CG. Bauji is afraid that the money will cause problems in the mohalla but Sandeep doesnt think so.
Rasik convinces Sukka, Rangeela and Ratiram to support him to start a 6 floor supermarket in a lucrative locality and use profits from that to fulfil their dreams. They decide that the deewane should be be made watchmen in the supermarket. Sukka wants Jugle to be the security in-charge. In the evening the whole mohalla meets at Guptas place. They decide to first agree on what to do with the money and depending on that decide who gets the money. Now everyone pitches in with their ideas. Sukka asks Sandeep for his ideas but he doesnt want to get involved. Soon everyone starts disagreeing and pulling down each other. Parasrampuria Jr and Lal come to CG and see all the people fighting. Sandeep notices them there.
