Soha Ali Khan in a gun trouble

Soha Ali Khan found herself in the middle of a controversy, suddenly out of nowhere when an RTI (Right to Information) application filed by an animal activist revealed that the actress was issued a gun license in the year 1996 when she was only 18 years old.

What further created trouble was the fact that the gun was used by Soha's father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, to hunt black-bucks in Jhajjar district in the year 2005. It may be recalled that a case had been booked against Pataudi Sr. under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, for allegedly poaching wild animals including the endangered species blackbucks, for which he had served three days in jail before getting bail. It seems like poor Soha has to face the brunt now as the gun was issued in her name and that too when she was below the permissible age-limit of 21 years.

The actress would now most likely receive a show cause notice by the Haryana police authorities asking her to clarify her position on the arms license issued to her way back in 1996. Soha would be given around two weeks time to file her reply.
