Ardhangini to be made into a thriller now

Ardhangini, the high-budgeted show on Zee TV from Jay Productions, started with a huge promise and much hype in October, but has not been able to find a grip at the TRP chart. If we take a close look at the TAM, Ardhangini has never managed to get good TRP's, even during the phase when the serial was high in romance. Considered to be Zee' dream project, this serial has surely cast a dampener on the channel's hopes to get to the Numero Uno position.

The biggest drawback of this serial is that the protagonists, Ajay Krish and Sudeepa Singh have not been able to get the cash registers and the TRP charts ringing with their on screen chemistry. But Jay Mehtaa, the Producer of Ardhangini defends his actors and blames it all on the time slot and says, "The main problem is the time slot allotted to our show or else our TRP would have been better". Well, this reply is a bit strange as Star Plus's show Kayamath slotted at the same 11pm slot has been reaping rewards and appreciation which is reflective in the high TRPs got. To this, Jay without flattering an eyelid says, "Zee has targeted audiences in the interior parts of India where people go to sleep early where Star Plus focuses on metros and so its night shows achieve good TRP's."
Now what do the creative have to offer to the dipping storyline of Ardhangini? It is heard that the team is working hard to change the trend and deliver something better that can please the viewers. But will things really matter, as the story which started as a romantic love story failed to click, owing to which the story was given a saas-bahu twist, which again failed to attract the audience. Now what next? Jay says, "We are taking the story in a thriller mode, but that doesn't mean we are making this change due to low TRP's. The story is moving as planned since the start of the show. I believe that the thriller track is surely going to work".

We believe you, Mr. Jay, and we too hope that at least the thriller element in the story will provide a new lease of life to the serial.

^^ nothing to mind yaar..this serial totally needs a fresh shot of reality..too many ppl behind pri-kang's relationship..tht sort of has spoiled the broth completely!!

Come on...make something positive..add someone other than paro by their side... 😕 😕

it woudl be great to have nivan in the show ocne again.. with an other girl opposite him.. a comlete pounjabi girl wiht him.. it will ad more good and comedy in it

^^Oh yeah, I totally agree..they should bring back Nivan..and foremost replace ajay n sudeepa...they arent doing anything good for the serial

n one of the biggest problem i have wid dis serial is that even priyam is shownnn really stupid..he doesn't trust kangana a BIT..NOT A EVEN A LIL BIT..
if u see other dramas...n if there r tons of villains in it..the lead actor n actress have some kind of understanding....which in this serial...its only kangana tryin to prove her innocense pretty much all the time to priyam....
