Presenting to you the 13th edition of our newsletter, The Bidaai Chronicle, full of chatpata news, fun , games,
and a lot more! Keep reading to see what else is in store... In every
section where there are hyperlinks, pls click on them to read them.
For
new members in our forum who would like to know the concept, story and
the characters better, and to get to know everyone in the forum....
Concept & Character Sketch
If
you've been been too busy to read the updates... well this section is
for you! We will be posting the summary of the entire week all in one
paragraph.

Mamaji
stands in support of Ragini and tells Puneet's family that they can
take the barrat back. All are shocked to hear this. Puneet and his
family stand there speechless and leave. Sadhna goes to console Ragini,
and Nani blames Sadhna for all of this. Ragini urges her not to blame
Sadhna and tells everyone that this is all her fault as she is dark
complexioned and that has become her life's nightmare. Mamiji blames
herself for all of this and rushes home locking herself in the
kitchen.. and all look on calliing out to her to stop as she pours
kerosene all over herself to burn herself alive. Somehow they manage to
break down the door and they stop her. Mamaji yells at her for going to
take such a drastic step. Kaushalya then breaks down and pours her
heart out as to how she was always looked down upon becuz of her
complexion and that Ragini is facing the same fate. The whole family is
shattered with all this. Later, Vinu explodes at Malti and blames her
for all this, but she manages to calm him down with her wittiness.
Sulakshana summons Malti to her house and asks her money back from
Malti, the one that Malti had taken from her after Ragini's engagement.
Malti makes matters worse for Naniji at home by bringing up Sadhna's
job, and Mamaji goes to her workplace and learns that Sadhna has no job
whatsoever and has been lying to him. He confronts Sadhna with this.
Seeing Sadhna look at Nani, he realizes that Sadhna was going to Nani's
house this whole time. He is very upset and devastated at the entire
family and himself. Malti wonders how to come up with Sulakshana's
money and Vinu worries if Bittu will come back. Malti asks Vinu to help
her, even if it means he has to steal. Mami later applies balm on
Sadhna's feet for her, and Sadhna is happy to see this. Nani is unhappy
at this and tells Mami that if only they had that 10lacs.. then the
marriage cud have taken place. And she leaves Mami in thoughts.

This week was an emotional week for Bidaai. This week we have 2 Characters of the Week instead of just 1.

He supported Ragini in her decision to break off the marriage and also faced the samaj who kept telling him to stop the barrat from leaving. He saved Mamiji from commiting a suicide and giving up on life.

Who spoke out her fears in front of the whole family and also told Sadhna that she was proud of her husband when he took her in, and she is not hard-hearted so as not to give love to an orphan girl, but cause of her fears she could not do so and she hugged Sadhna.

The best Scene of the Week which touched all the viewers most was when Mamiji breaks down and tells everyone her fears and reveals that she was very proud of her husband when he took Sadhna in and that she is not hard-hearted that she cannot give love to an orphan, but more than her love for Sadhna is her fear for Ragini, and then she hugs Sadhna.
Do u remember the scene when Mamaji though being a girls father, tells Puneet's Mom that he is with his daughter in her decision to break off the marriage and asks her to leave with the baraat? No? Then u shudn't miss it!!
