Tuesday episode

Continues from y'day episode. Ganga inside library...reads something & is shocked. She hears a howling noise and sees a ghost like structure from the bathroom (it is actually Sundari doing something with her saree to fool her). G screams and flees from the lib and hugs Ashok who happens to be outside the lib thinking it is her hubby Sidd. Ashok shows his evel grin 😡 😡 😡 when Ganga hugs him. Just then Sidd comes downstairs and on seeing him Ganga is horrified that she has hugged Ashok instead of Ganga and rums to Sidd saying she did a big mistake and there's ghost in the lib...bla...bla.
Ashok explains that she must have seen a rat or something like that and tells Sidd that G is scared of A. S tells A that G is scared of everything & everybody. A leaves & S pacifies and cajoles G that all will be fine.

Scene 2
Ganga comes to Maya's room. M asks her if she is happy & if everyone is taking good care of her. G nods her head and then sees M's hubby's picture and asks M how he dies. M's face changes. G asks if Chak killed him. Maya is shocked and asks G how she knows. G says she read the marana vaakumoolam in the lib and immidiately M begs her to get it from the lib. G pleads saying she is scared to go there as there's a ghost and refuses and pleads over & over again. But M keeps insisting that she go & begs her & finally G reluctantly agrees. Just then Sundari comes there & tells G that Chak has calledfor her.
Chak is with that stupid josiyar who tells G to take his blessings. G says she is scared & immidiately Josiyar starts talking loudly in that tamil which I am not sure if himself u.stands. G gets all the more frightened and runs from there saying she is scared.

Scene 3
G comes to her mom's house. Veda asks her what is wrong. G cries and tells she is very scared as there is something in that house which is very scary & she feels like someone is watching her all the time even during her bath (YUCK..it must be that sick Ashok). G pleads with her mom that she'll never go back to Chak's house again & veda requests her husband to let G stay with them for sometime. The idiotic father says that a girl shud be @ her inlaws place after marriage and starts shouting to which G gets more scared and says she'll go back.

Scene 4
Its nighttime & there's noone at Chak's house. Maya tells Ganga to go to the lib & fetch that vaakumoolam. G says she'll go in the morning as she is scared now but M insists. G slowly goes feeling scared & peeps in the library [FREEZE]

How come no updaters of Anjali for the last 3-4 days. Have everyone lost hope thinking that watching this serial is a waste of time??? I dont think I can do the updates on the regular basis with a job, household & a baby to look after.

short update for wednesday:
Ganga finds the document. She comes downstairs when she runs into Chak, Ashok and Sundari. She runs into her room and locks the door. She puts the document behind a photo of siddarth. Ashok is watching from a window. she calls Siddarth to come home.

Ganga is backing into a balcony as someone is getting closer and closer. That someone pushes her off the balcony (doesnt show who it is). She falls and dies. Siddarth comes home and cries. 😭 😭

Veda and husband go to Chak's home and cry their eyes out. Veda shouts at Siddarth saying, you were supposed to look after her, etc. Chak says leave him alone, your daughter was mad, and she killed herself. Veda shouts at Chak and says you will pay for this. Siddarth falls at her feet and she pushes him away. He then goes to the body and starts talking to it 😕 😭 . Ashok looks at him in disgust....thodarum Edited by brinny_g - 16 years ago

update for friday
    starts with the same scene of ashok & sidekicks.Ashok is not
shrewd enough to guess that it is sid.He thinks it is plan of anjali
& asks to find roja when the sidekick says the man looked like subramani.
    Roja & her dad reach anjali's house & say they live in thiruvallur now
& ask sorry to anjali.Jeeva scolds the man.But anjali pacifies him &
gives the baby some rupee note & they go.
    Then the boring story of babu & devaki.Babu stay in house to see
some accounts when Vennila & her dad go to some marriage.The aunt stays
back as she did not believe babu & devaki & to a extent she is right.
They both arrive after getting drenched in rain & babu wants to share
the same towel.Then in computer room he talks abt how they got drenched
when they saw pancha thandiram & sings a song from it.( very awful guys).
Then when devaki says he is vennila's hubby he blabbers thousand vennilas
& natchathirams cannot replace his first love devaki.
     screen freezes with devaki & babu on one side & vennila's shocked
face on other side.

Update for Aug 6, 2007.

SCENE ONE: Devaki and Babu are in a room. Babu asks her how dare she give back his gift that he presented to her during their old days. Devaki says that he should take this back and forget her. Babu then says that he cannot forget her, and asks her to keep the gift. Devaki tells him to move and rushes out the door, and bumps into Vennila's athai who gives both Babu and Devaki an evil look. In the morning, Babu comes down the staircase, and sits down on the sofa. He looks around for Devaki, gets up, and goes towards a window and calls out for Devaki. Vennila's aththai comes out hearing this, and looks out the window, and questions him about why is he standing and reading the paper, and Babu says huh, and she changes the topic and asks him if he wants coffee. Then she goes on saying not to use this side door as it is not auspicious, and that he should use the front door. Babu gets mad, and leaves. The aththai then takes a chair and puts it right near the door and sits down. Devaki comes through that side door and sees it closed. The aththai then asks her if she is searching for Babu, but she doesn't reply. Then the aththai asks her to come inside as she wants to talk to her. She asks Devaki what happened last night, and Devaki says that nothing happened as she thinks, and that she considers her as a mother. They have an rough talk with each other. Devaki gives a letter to her and says that she is leaving the house.

SCENE TWO: In the police station, Joe comes and asks his sister about Nalini's case that is going to be held tomorrow. Joe asks his sister what do you think is going to happen tomorrow in the court, and she says that Jeeva will be released as this case is very weak, and that the evidents arent enough. After taking the DNA test, it was proved that Jeeva is not the father of Nalini's (ROJA) baby. Joe then inquires about who could be the real culprit, and she says Ashok, and that she will arrest him one day for sure. Both leave. Babu comes and finds a letter on the dining table which was written by Devaki. He reads the letter and finds out that Devaki has left the house, and is shocked.

SCENE THREE: Starts with Kaveri serving her mamiyar food. Then they're usual fights start. Babu comes, and questions about where Anjali is. Kaveri tells him that Anjali is getting ready for work. Then Kaveri's mamiyar questions about won't you inquire about this Kaveri sister of yours. Then she asks if he hasn't brought anything, and blah blah. Babu's dad then warns Kaveri's mamiyar not to talk about his daughters as he will not bear that. Anjali comes and asks Babu how he is, and asks about Vennila. Babu then says that he is here to talk about something important. Babu and Anjali then go out and talk about the problem. Anjali then questions about what the problem is and blah blah. Babu then tells Anjali about how aththai is very bad and how rude she is to Devaki. Anjali then asks him as to what should she do, get you and Devaki married. Episod ends.

After a long time i have done this update as no one has updated. Enjoy😊

Tuesday's Episode:
Anjali asks what happened. Babu says we were doing the accounts together, nothing happened (lie 😡 ), athai just saw us together and thought wrongly. Now Devaki has left, I have to find her, wherever she is. Anjali asks again, what happened yesterday? Devaki won't just leave because of athai, YOU must have said something. Babu denies it but Anjali says I know what men are like, you must have said 'I can't forget you', etc. Babu doesnt deny and Anjali shouts at him. She says don't look for Devaki, she will look after herself. You stay with you're wife. Babu is upset.

In court, judge says there is not enough evidence against Jeeva for Nalini's murder. DNA test also proves that he is not the father of the baby, therefore he is innocent and free.

Gopal tells Chak and Ashok the 'bad news' that Jeeva is free. Ashok is mad, as for him, it means that Anjali has won. He walks off and Chak tells Gopal to keep an eye on him as he doesnt want Ashok going to Chennai for a few days. They agree that Anjali should be back in their house, under their control.

Jeeva thanks Anjali and says it's because of you that I am free. Knowing that your husband could have gone to jail, you still tried to get me out. Supriya comes with sweets, forces Jeeva's mum to have one and say 'I love you' to her 😆 . She also makes Sundaram give sweets to everyone, including Anjali, who accepts. He asks her about Thilaga coming over to stay and she agrees.

Phone rings and it is RR. She says you may be happy, but I won't let you live peacefully. Anjali talks back, but RR carries on threatening her. Supriya hangs up, and RR is about to ring again, when Jo stops her. He says stop blaming them for PP's death, and stop throwing your life away.

Manjula and Guna go to visit their child but the other couple hide her in a room. Manjula says we heard that you are going to Dubai, we just want to see her and give her sweets. She says no, but they beg. She says keep her photo in your wallet, then you can see her whenever you like. The child runs out, and both couples fight over her...thodarum

UPDATE OF WEDNESDAY
NOTHING MUCH TO WATCH.
     Starts with the same manjula scene.BOth manjula & guna are thrown out of the house after tug of war.Suja is taken inside.Manjula literally gets money throwed on face & she leaves.
     Kaveri & jeeva sitting with his mom in back.He says that even the union members r not faithful to him in pondi.His mom wants him to find a job soon.Thilaga arrives with sundaram.She really irritates everybody & gives big talk of being independent.Anjali says she will take care of her like mother.
     Manjula & dhanam reach the evil josiar's place.After much talking also he does not open his eyes.Dhanam throws the 2 & 1/2 lakhs that manju bought near josiar & promises to get it tommorrow.camera freezes on josiar's face.
THODARUM

Wednesday's Episode:
Manjula and Guna try to hug Suja, but the other two manage to get her into another room. They throw 1 lakh cash at their faces and tell them to leave. Guna tries to beg, but they push both of them out and lock the door.

Vennila and her dad come back. She starts talking to Babu, but he ignores her and just says Devaki has left. He keeps repeating it and Vennila's dad ignores him. Vennila says what can we do, we can only look for her, but she's not a child. Her dad is annoyed with Babu but doesnt shout at him. Babu, when on his own, says to himself, no rich person is fully good. (I can't believe he has the nerve to think like that. 😡 He's lucky his FIL put up with having Devaki in the house in the first place)

Jeeva is upset as he has lost his job. He tells Kaveri that he thought at least the workers would be loyal to him as he is friends with them, and has done a lot for the union, but everyone is against him now. His mother complains as usual about lack of money.

Thilaga arrives and her sisters are happy to see her. She talks coldly to them, saying I am just here to stay, but I am independant, I won't even eat here, etc. Jeeva tells her to give respect to her elders, but she said she won't respect Anjali as she betrayed her. Anjali says I will still look after you like a mother. Everyone is happy, but Thilaga refuses to smile.

Dhanalaskshmi takes Manjula to josiar. He seems to ignore them at first, Manjula gives him money. Dhanalakshmi asks for his blessings but he still does not open his eyes. Dhanalakshmi takes Manjula away.

Thursday's Episode:
Dhanalakshmi tells Manjula not to worry, and smiles evilly as she walks away.

Anjali is at workplace. Sid is behind her, but is shy to talk to her. She asks him why and he says he doesn't talk to women much. He tells her that he bought a book for her to help her with IAS studies. Anjali thanks him, but has a flashback of when Ashok burnt the book that Raja bought for her. She sheds a few tears, and Sid asks have I done something wrong. She says no, I'm just thinking how different you two brothers are. He asks how Yamuna is and asks for her address.

Vennila is at kovil with her athai, who tells her to be careful about Babu. Vennila doesn't understand, and athai says I am the reason Devaki left. It's because I care about you, just be careful.

Sid asks Veda if he can visit Yamuna, but she says no. I don't want anything to do with Chak's family. Already Supriya is visiting our house, Maya is phoning me, and its dangerous. If they find out, I don't want to be separated from you. Losing Ganga was hard enough. He says please I have to see her. She has no relations now, and I know what that is like. She lets him.

Sundaram goes to see that Ayyappan guy (the one who's bro he saved). The guard at the gate says Ashok is also there, visiting him. When he goes inside, Thilaga is sitting there. He shouts and says, do you not know what kind of place this is? She says I have come with my employer, Ashok, in a car. You have probably come on a bike. Sundaram waits outside. Ashok comes outside after meeting Ayyappan. He introduces them to each other, and Ayyppan tells Sundaram, my friend is also your friend. Say vanakkam to him. Ashok laughs evilly, as Thilaga looks on.

FRIDAYS UPDATE- A RATHER ELOBRATE ONE

starts with the same scene of ashok & sundaram.Ashok says that he has
seen this man somewhere.JOY who is seeing thilaga says he looks like her
father.she scolds him. Then he goes down towards his car calling sundaram
uncle.The car tyre is punchered(sundaram's work).Ayyapan offers his car.
Then sundaram goes inside.Ayyapan praises him & Gives 1 lakh rs. thru
mani as he is very lucky.Sundaram enquires abt thara & promises to marry
her to mani.
    BREAK
    veda enters.She has bought all items(sweet,silk saree,manjal,kunkumam)
for yamuna.Sid asks why she is accepting to see yamuna.She says i will
feel bad if my bro did not see me.Then talks big of Bro-sis relationship.
     Jeeva atlast catches chak in chennai office.Chak asks to see people
in pondi office.But jeeva refuses.THen chak ask him to enter his cabin
after 1 min.In cabin he blasts gopal in phone for not informing security
in chennai not to allow jeeva inside.Meanwhile jeeva enters & says 1 min
over & asks for his gratuity,PF,settlement etc.Chak refuses everything as
he has damaged his mills name in newspaper.Jeeva said ashok picture
shud be there & if police investigate correctly they will know the truth.
He then threatens to kill both ashok & chak & go to jail which is not new
to him.Then he talks communism & say every business man is a dinosaur
who will eat their workers live.Chak asks him to put case & then he will
give what court says.Jeeva throws his resignation in chak's face & walks
out.
    BREAK
     Cute scene btw yamuna & her mil.She is combing yamuna's hair.Yamu says
she is seeing true motherly love after her mother's death here only.She says
she is richer here in passam.Her MIL says then U are saying we don't have money
here.Yamu says cant she be serious once.Whole family is doing comedy always.
The younger bro of joe arrives & asks for ticket money to see movie.His mother
refuses.He asks why u give 500 rs to yamu but not him.Yamu offers money.The sis&
bro jodi say they have taken money already from yamu's purse & leave.
    Somebody call yamu from outside.Sid has arrived But MIL calls him ashok.
Yamu also thinks him as ashok & ask him to get out.When he says he is sid she
scolds him for using her good Bro's name & says she cannot be deceived by disguise.
To add fire to the problem RR eswari arrives & throws sid's PA outside.
She is abt to throw Sid also outside as she thinks him as ashok but her mom takes
her inside.Yamu now throws sid ouside.FRAME FREEZES ON YAMU & SID.THODARUM

Thought I will do the update as I cudn't see any.

Scene 1:

Continues from Friday's episode. Sidd has come to see Yamuna. Yamuna mistakes Sidd as Ashok and angrily asks him to go away. RR Eswari comes there and starts giving him left right & center and her mother takes her in. Yamuna literally throws Sidd out of the house. He turns and leaves slowly without saying a word and just after he leaves, Yamuna realises that it is his bro Sidd & not Ashok - the way he looked at her and immidiately rushes out of the house calling Sidd. Sidd is upset and is just abt to get into his car & leave when he hears her. Yamuna comes running to him saying that I know u r my good bro Sidd & asks him how he is alive when everyone assumed that he is dead. He briefly tells all his kasi, mumbai flashback and came to see Yamuna after he saw Anjali & Supriya...Lots of senti dialog between them. Yamuna asks for forgiveness & calls him inside but Sidd says that noone shud know Sidd is alive esp Chak & Ashok. Sidd gives her the saree, sweets etc that he bought for her but Yamuna says she will accept them later after he discloses to everyone that he is her bro. She takes only the manjal & says this is more than enuf from my loving bro...bla bla...and she hugs Sidd & cries. Joe comes from somewhere & sees this and angrily goes inside.

RR Eswari & her mom r in the dining room when Joe comes. Later Yamuna also comes. RR tells that her bro Ashok came and Yamuna says that she didnt accept any seer from him. Joe asks abt the manjal and she covers up saying it was in the ground & she took it. RR & Joe seem not to be convinced but their mom says that Yamuna is a good girl & not to jump to conclusions.

Scene 2:

Anjali's dad is sitting outside the house with an envelope waiting for Anjali. Anjali & Cauvery's MIL come from outside and Anjali's dad gives her the cash saying it is his self-earning and it is a huge sum - one lac rupee got from a catering contract. Anjali refuses to take the money saying she is earning for the family and that he must start a business with this money and include Jeeva mama & help others also. Her father is amazed & speechless at her response & leaves happily.

Scene 3:

Chak is leaving for outstation & his PA is escorting him to the car when RR Eswari comes and tells that they r making more & more mistake - eachone coming to their house and giving gifts to Yamuna. First it was Chak & now it is Ashok. Chak looks confused when RR tells that he came y'day to their house with Seer to their house. He says he will put both of them in nuisance case if they r going to trouble like this often & leaves. Chak asks his PA to call Ashok. [Thodarum...]
