Remember the 'Makdee' girl, Shweta Prasad who thrilled with her stupendous act in Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Iqbal' and Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Makdee'. This once child star is all grown up now and has made an interesting debut with Mithun Chakraborty in a Bengali film 'Ek Nadir Galpo' that is doing its rounds now at the prestigious 38th International Film Festival in Goa.

Says Shweta, "Mithun da is a great actor and I play his 17-year-old daughter in the film."

Shweta had earlier impressed with her fine act in several TV soaps and films and now she is all set to get into Bollywood. Says Shweta, "I am ready to act whenever I get any good role."

In the interim, this budding actress is busy preparing herself for her upcoming board exams. We wish this not-so-little star all the best!
