Part 3 - The shock
Armaan and Ridz both hurried back to thier homes, without saying anything to their accompaniments. All the while in the car, both kept on having different thoughts as to what the matter was that their parents called them home urgently.
Armaan was very worried as his mom and dad had never called him home like this.
A: Now what did I do wrong?
A: Why did they call me home like this?
A: Are they angry at me?
On the other hand, Ridz was having the same thoughts aswell.
R: Are they angry at me?
R: But why?
R: Why did they call me home like this?
R: Do...Are...they aware of me an Atul?
R: Oh S***!
And as Ridz said these words, she had reachen her home. And Armaan while wondering the same thoughts reached his home too.
AR both entered their respective homes and saw their mom and dad waiting in the living room. And seeing their parents curious faces looking at them, AR stopped dead in their steps.
Armaans home:
A: Hi mom! Hi dad!
Dad: Armaan, where have you been?
A: Who me? Dad, I was just..just with my friends!
Armaan looks at his mom in order to see some sign of what was comming ahead but no. No sign, no answer no nothing.
Ridz home:
Dad: Hello Riddhima!
Ridz: Hi dad. Hi mom.
Dad: Where have u been?
R: I was just...hanging out with my friends...you know!
D: Oh!
Ridz was kind of scared about what kind of talk was comming ahead.
There was an akward silence in both houses. AR looked at each others parents, trying to figure out what was comming ahead of them but both were unsucessful.
A's dad: Armaan, come and sit down here.
R's dad: Riddhima, come and sit down here.
AR both sat down on the sofa.
R's dad: Come on, have something. Eat.
Both Armaan and Riddhimas dad faced their children and started to speak.
Ridz picked up a glass of water and started drinking from it cuz apperently she sweat all over her forehead. And drank while her dad continued talking.
On the other hand, Armaans dad said the same thing to Armaan and instead of drinking water, Armaan started to chew on some potato chips.
A's dad: Armaan, now that u have grown up, you roaming around like a lost puppy, u meeting your friends for a whole day, you goofing around needs to stop.
Armaan didn't say anything and kept on chewing.
R's dad: Riddhima, now u need to become responsible and stop going and partying with your friends.
Ridz didn't say anything.
A's dad: Armaan, me and your mom have decided something. We want you to get married.
Armaan didn't say anything, had a smile on his face thinking abt him and Anji and kept eating.
Ridz dad: Riddhma, we want you to get married.
Riddhima was really happy that her dad had decided to get her marriied adn started thinking about her and Atul.
A's dad: Armaan, we have decided to get you married to a girl that we know really well...
R's dad: Ridz, we have found a boy for you and his name is...
A's dad: Riddhima!
R's dad: Armaan!
Armaan almost chocked on his chips hearing Riddhimas name and got up from the sofa in a jiffy.
A: What?
Riddhima also chocked on her glass of what hearing Armaans name and got up from the sofa right away.
R: What?
A: Who?
R: How?
A: Why?
Part 4: The other half of the talk and the proposal.
