Kapoor family is preparing for abhay and Kusum's wedding. Abhay leaves for office on the wedding day saying there is important work in office. Whole family is waiting for Abhay in the mandir. Guests start leaving and Abhay is nowhere to be found. Everyone keeps calling him. He is not answering the phone. The newspapers next day carry the headline of Abhay's abscondment.
